Description

Incredible - absolutely worth the hype. Best parrilla we have had in 8 months of South America / our lives. The food, atmosphere and service were well worth it. Main cuts of meat are 250ish and sides 80ish. You could get away with sharing one cut of meat between 2, and then adding on some sides. If you feel like splashing out a little - go here for sure.
Normally open from 12 to 3pm and again from 8om

With so many good reviews I went here to check it out and had the worst steak in Argentina, maybe ever that cost me 35$ usd
A chunk of fat instead of chorizo. Half of it was un-chewable, another half is like rubber
They cooked it like a ahi tuna, a sear on the outside and completely raw on the inside even though I asked for medium rare

Nice restaurant. If you come early, 7pm and your vehicle is not to big there's a good chance you can park in front of the restaurant, it's safe. Good meat but I wouldn't say the best (try bunker grill and bar Cochabamba Bolivia :)). Reasonable prices, payment with credit card possible. They don't do reservations best come around 19.30. WiFi available.Staff speaks some English.

When I wrote this describtions I did not believed....but we have been here and I must admit: it IS REALLY the BEST MEAT we had on our SA travel! The staff is so friendly and the prices are really good for what you get. Enjoy!

Report Check-In

We came twice here, indeed great place!
You can order just 1/2 portion for half the price, which was more than enough for me for the chorizo steak I took (300g the 1/2 portion!).

The pork and lamb portions were smaller (~400g, a whole portion was ok for me) and very good too. As previously mentioned, you can combine different choices.

Prices “up” because of inflation, still a very good quality/quantity/price ratio. (~800 pesos/US13$ for a meat portion, 200-300p/3-5 US$ for a side).

Staff speaks good English, and is very nice and helpful.

Really outstanding parilla! Very good local wine selection too. Came here twice and enjoyed the very good food and service (they will help you to not order too much and guide you through the wine selection). They offer to order half/half of bife the chorizo (tenderloin) and ojo de bife (rib-eye) so that you can try both. Don’t miss the desserts! And don’t miss this place at all! Perfect value for money!

Like the other comments: great place to eat with good prices. We took (delicious) ojo de bife (490 pesos) and it’s enough for two. We had to wait 30 minutes but worth it! Definitely recommend.

Great restaurant!!! Loving this iOverlander recommendations

Report Check-In

Just read below. Best steak in South America so far. Was enough to share one slab of meat, we had the rib-eye, with a sausage and morcilla on the side. Portion of mash potato was enough to feed 4 not 2... We booked, just emailed [email protected] and got a reply quickly confirming our table. Do this to avoid disappointment.

Well never know what it tastes like because we showed up at 8:20 and it was full already and unless we were willing to wait 1h we could not eat there.

95% of the time my partner and I are vegetarian...this was part of our 5% and totally worth it. Really special treat. Not cheap, though - guess we’re wild camping tonight. And tomorrow. And the next day.

Wow! This was the best steak we've probably ever had! The grilled vegetables were also amazing, as was the Mousse de Limón.. neither of which were on the menu. Not sure how there's any question about sharing a meat serving between two.. the portions are huge! I guess you could skimp on the sides and just load up on meat, it would be worth it, but the sides are definitely worth trying as well. Ojo de Bife, papas fritas, grilled veges, mousse, and a bottle of Malbec: $740, and no regrets!
If anything, we probably didn't need the papas fritas.. you should really save the space for dessert.
Great service, great atmosphere.. we seriously considered going back to try the lamb..

Closed from 3pm to 8pm everyday. Also looks like there's a brewery right next door but it was under construction when we were there.

Best steak we had in Argentina. One portion is 500grams and cost about 300pesos.

really incredible. One of the best steaks I have ever had, if not the best! One "portion" is 1 pound of meat, so definitely share between 2 to make this an affordable splurge meal! I highly recommend treating yourself
