We arrived at 5pm. Were told 9000pp to sleep in our truck. We came in the side gate and parked in the front area on the grass. Didn't park at the camp area. The new owner Chris knocked at our door to invite us to sit by the fire. We explained our concerns re the price and then only realised it includes breakfast and the price we were quoted was for if they provide you with a tent. It was a very nice man and since we paid already we said it's fine and that we appreciate the owner/manager welcoming us. Haven't seen a manager in the last 5 months of traveling. Had a nice hot shower and eggs and home-baked bread and coffee for breakfast. It all in all ended well.

the staff is very friendly and it was very nice to meet other overlanders. the camping is ok but you see people passing behind the fence and it is close to the road. with ear plugs it was fine.
nice bar and restaurant.
when we were there they had a couple of power cuts and even in the morning. So no hot shower which is normally available. :-) ok for one or two nights.
price ppn includes breakfast

Nice big lawn to camp with shade. Not really a campsite and location is next to a very busy road, however, we were given a key to a room for a hot shower. We paid 6000 RF pppn. Good place to explore local area and the local restaurants and market are worth a visit.

the program is worth to support it. they spend their earnings to orphans and wounded in the genocide.

Stayed a week here and liked it despite lack of enough cold beers in the fridge. This Discover Rwanda hostel is better than the one in Kigali. Awesome property with endless of space for tents, trucks and whatever.

We left our motorcycles parked in their garage safely for several days while visiting the DRC, didn't charge us anything for it. Good vibe, food is ok. Discover Rwanda plate is the most food for the money but not too exciting.

If you're craving something small during day, walk down along the beach. Usually a few guys selling tasty samosas (50 per), grilled potatoes and Belgian waffles!

Just we can add something extra all comment: it is secure place to leave your vehicle if you have plan to go Virunga NP. 5 usd per day parking if you don't stay. After told with then we paid 5 usd for two motorcycle each day. Food is nice taste and price around 5.000 RWF, beer 1.500 RWF. If you want to camp you can use restaurants wc and they can show you a room to shower. Dorm room is 17 usd pppn.

beautiful boutique hotel across the road from the beach.. the grounds are lush and green, the staff were fantastic and the food delicious! highly recommend it! hot showers, wifi, everything you need! we paid 10usd pp including breakfast

Like others said the road close to campsite is a bit noisy until late at night and from early in the morning. Wi-Fi in bar area is OK. Breakfast is eggs the way you want it and bread and a small plate of fruit (3 small items). Close to Lake shore.

Fancy house turned into a hostel with flat, shady camping in the back yard, unfortunately close to a busy-ish road but still passable for a couple nights. Great location for accessing the beach front. $10 incl brkfst.

Nicely run place! Still $10pppn including breakfast. They provide laundry service (machine) for okay price as well (15 pieces for 3000RWF).

However we liked Paradis Malahide much better, nicer breakfast, better views, cheaper beer (and more variety), although camping spot in parking is less attractive.

Very smart hotel which also allows camping (tents or rooftop) out back. Level ground with shade. $10pppn including breakfast and access to (hot) showers and toilet. Nice food in the restaurant. Only drawback is the camping spot is in view of a road. 2 minute walk to popular beach with clean water

Hostel and Campground- great location, across from beach. Quiet and fairly private. Good wifi, small menu but food is good and staff very friendly.
