Really nice place to camp. 1 or 2 spots available. We payed 90.000 ugx for 2 adults and 2 kids. We arranged that we could stay without having breakfast. Sanitation is perfect, nice hot shower. They do laundry with a thumble dryer (big loads), for 25.000 ugx. Pizza night at Friday with their own pizza oven. Very helpfull and nice staff. As you stay in the city, there is music and the Arabic guy at night. But we had good nights of sleep. Can recommend the place. Also a nice restaurant plot 99 closeby at walking distance.

Is a lovely spot with good reasonably priced food. USD12 pppn including a very nice breakfast. We camped in our roof tent. The challenge remains with the chap and the speaker - sporadically through the night until 5am - perhaps less noticeable in a room but under canvas it was loud. It is a shame as EVERYTHING else is lovely.

as described a feel-good place. we paid $12 per person, children had to pay the same price. in the morning until 4 o'clock volume from nearby bar warm shower campfire nice breakfast 👍👍

We stopped here after a week on the road and decided not to camp and take an apartment for 65 USD, where we could completely download our truck to clean and organize. They do laundry, with a dryer. The parking is big enough to air out our rooftop and open canopy to dry after days of rain. Apartment comes with a kitchenette. We are now set for the next leg of our long trek.

Everything below is true. Perfect environment. Cold beer including a Ugandan micro- brewery's IPA. A perfect one day reboot.

The road is still rough getting up to the spot!

Very nice place, we stayed in a room, small but good. Breakfast was outstanding, all fresh products. We really liked the atmosphere, easy to meet other guests. Finally the dinner was also very nice.

Relaxed environment 20 minutes walk from city center. Nice breakfast included.
We paid USD 10 pppn for camping. Children only paid for the breakfast.

Absolutely one of our favorite accommodations on our trip around Africa.
The Breakfast is stunning! Staff are more than helpful and welcoming!
We stayed here twice. In addition one week.
Camping in the garden is still 10USDpppn, breakfast included.

Your home away from home! Spend three lovely nights in beautiful rooms. The menu is amazing. They even made a special kids room with a bunk bed. Breakfast is amazing and the staff very helpful and friendly.

As described, nice, small, basic camp. Space for only 1-2 big rigs. The gate is ok for big rigs. Very good WiFi. Dinner very good 20,000 ugs

Amazing place, one of our favourite so far. Robin and Wycliff are great hosts. we stayed 2 nights in our rooftop tent in their garden. they offer very comfortable rooms too. Their delicious breakfast is included in the price (8$pp/night for camping). If you are looking for a laid back place to meet inspiring people you should stop there.

We just love the atmosphere of Villa Katwe. Everything is very clean. The room is very comfortable. We chosed to rest in the room before go to the border with Tanzania in the next day early in the morning. The commons areas are very cozy we could play many games. They also have beers and drinks. We spent two nights there but we can easily spend one month. Definitely a place to go in Masaka. And Robin and her family make you feel like home.

Friendly and welcoming, not many travelers around but conveniently located for a good mechanic, having your test done for border crossings (lancet laboratories comes here to do the test) and to relax! Prices still the same...

Great stay, clean rooms and bathrooms. Beautiful garden and friendly staff. 8$ p.p. if you have your own tent, 10 $ p.p. lazy camping and 18$ for a private room. All prices include breakfast.

We stayed in the car and paid 8 US D pppn inclusive of breakfast. Clean bathrooms, hot shower. Good Internet and healthy food. Staff was very friendly and spoke good english. Camp fire at night. Stayed a night longer than intended. Came with big rig. Place fits one. We were lucky no other cars were there when we arrived.

I am traveling East Africa on my motorbike.
Lovely place with breakfast included ($8 pp) but avoid the weekend: it was crowded and very loud, party hostel, we had to wake up at 3 am to ask some drunk guest to put the music down. Toilets were full of vomit.

Really nice place. 75,000 for a private room for 2 people with breakfast (eggs, bread, muesli, fruit, juice, coffee). Pet Friendly. Outside fire pit with lovely views at night. Driveway is a bit eroded but okay.

Cool place in town, up a rough driveway on top of a hill. Friendly staff, comfy environment, nice grassy area for camping. Hot showers and good wifi. Space for 3 or 4 so rooftop tents, but very tight. 30,000pp camping, 50,000pp for room with shared bathroom. Breakfast included even for camping.
