Police in the border didnt want we stay here for the night. very dangerous with animals Silvestre. Pity, it seemed very nice place. Dont know if they check. better to stay in the natural reserve aside, see "hostel section". free if you are in camper

Quiet night full of stars. In the morning the police came and ask us our papers. They ask us not to stay here, it is dangerous because a lot of bushes and possibly tigers and other big cats. It is safer at the border.

Great simple refuge with sandy spaces for a few tents and ample hard standing for vehicles, before the Bolivian border. Very quiet at night, no trace of family mentioned in previous comments.

May be a nice place for a night, but the gate is not suitable for big rugs. Maximum hight approximately 3.40 meters.

Nice park-up spot, pretty countryside and peaceful. It's a dedicated refugio/picnic site but a very friendly/welcoming farmer and his family seems to live there too. It's a historic battle site from the Chaco war, but not much evidence of that other than a sign. Small pond that the farmer said we could swim in, but we didn't bother. Didn't see any facilities other than stone tables & benches in the shade. Free.

Refugio. You could even park out of sight of the road. Possible coalburners place.
