Description

I stay here often. It is not closed. It is a rest area. There is a free dump station and what looks like campsites with picnic tables. I stayed the night and changed my oil in the morning. This place is next to a wonderful space exhibit building, take the kids.

Beautiful spot, next to I10. As soon as we drove in, signs....no overnight.....but we ask the security guard and he said we are more than welcome to overnight, he offered the gazebo and told us that the restroom are open 24 hours. We had a quiet and good night sleep. There is water access in front of gazebo for washing dishes.

You can park overnight after the dump station, nice place, security guard on duty all night and 24 hr restrooms. Several RVs parked for the night .

There's a sign that says overnight parking/camping isn't allowed, but the restrooms are nice, the dump station is still open, and they have WiFi (though I didn't connect and don't know if it's fast).

Report Check-In

Visitor center is open, camping still not allowed.

Report Check-In

Bldg closed due to Coronavirus. Restrooms are open. Nice pulloffs for RVs that are separate from the cars and Semis. Guard said we could stay overnight.

Report Check-In

It seems the no overnight parking signs are more for the dump station. This would be a lovely place to park for the night.

Report Check-In

There are alot of “no overnight camping” signs but there are a few pull outs after the dump station where you can stay. 3 other campers with us & had no issues. A bit of truck noise, but absolutely fine for a night. Off the road so much quieter than other rest areas.

Hello
Yes....there is no overnight parking every where after the dump station...
But we sleep here with 5 other Rv and caravan...
There is a lot of little parkings to stop and eat on the picnic place...we put our RV here.
You have water but no potable and the dump station
The only problem is the noise of the truck.
Enjoy
