Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Decent size campsites with shade trees. Clean ablutions. Hot and cold pools. Jacuzzis, Restaurant and a small shop.
Report Check-InCamping under trees along the warm water stream (not a drainage stream ?!)
There are different prices for midweek and weekends. It’s good to make a booking in advance as the place is very busy. Or be lucky on arrival.
And why is it busy? Because it is lovely, well maintained and surprisingly quiet even it is busy!
No day visitors allowed - so not much traffic and car noise.
Each stand has a power plug - but remember there is load shedding. The restaurant it though hooked up to a generator. Restaurant is also not open to day visitors. Wifi at reception & restaurant.
Campsite 2 is the closest to reception and pools. The higher the number of your campsite, the further you are..
Besides the several pools & jacuzzis, There are two hiking trails and a tennis court.
Patchy signal with MTN.
The small shop attached to the restaurant is not so well stocked, so rather bring everything. But perfect to get some icecream.
There is a spa for massages, pedi, mani, scrub etc.

the price is now 220 Rpp. the bathrooms from places 1 to 15 are few but very clean. the pitches are small and attached and without privacy, a drainage stream passes between the pitches. very noisy
Report Check-InBeautiful secluded campsites all along a stream. Clean and modern ablutions all over the place. 2 large swimming pools, hot and cold.
Report Check-InProfessional run Hot Spring with 6 nice Rock Pools (ca 35-37°C) for 3-4 people situatated around a cold pool up the hill, one large hot Pool (ca 35-39°C) for ca 40 people, a large cold pool and a house with 5 indoor jacuzzis. The campsites, each with electricity and water and braai, are nestled along the narrow valley under big Trees. The upper sites are narrow and close together, but only a short walk to the pools. We had site 13, which is very private. The higher numbered sites down the valley are good but quite a walk to the pools. We did not book in advance but called in the morning and they had a cancellation. 4G MTN signal. 400 ZAR for 2 people and a camper, which in our opinion is a good price for what you get.
Report Check-InWe visited 4 years ago and loved this camp so had to return on this latest trip to SA! Still a nice place to stay and enjoy the springs but really feeling more commercialised. Most camping is long-term, possibly semi-resident folk, and many of the cottages look to be sold off as holiday homes. Still a lovely spot but has lost that feeling of being a special place and overlanders feel less welcome. R150 pppn. Gates close at 5pm, after which they might not let you in. Sites 13 upwards are a bit of a trek to walk to the pools.
Report Check-InCampsites under big trees, clean ablutions and hot showers.
Hot and cold water pools really nice.
You also can enjoy massages, manicures, pedicures... - ask at reception.
Hiking trails, trampolines, pool table, small playground for children, mountain biking, bird watching.
We paid 150 ZAR for pensioners.

Lovely to spend the day in the baths, but in hindsight wouldn’t have camped here - more convenience camping then a “spend your day at your camp” vibe
Report Check-InOne of the "must do" camping sites in this area. Well managed, ablutions spotless and good wifi too. Mineral baths, swimming pools & jacuzzis great for soaking those muscles. Camping sites offer shade and easy access to everything. Restaurant & shop cater for all your requirements.
Report Check-InSeveral campspors along the stream, some directly by the road. Nice and clean ablutions, a cold pool and a warm pool and even several Jacuzzis. Fast Wi-Fi at reception. Beware can be busy at weekends. 110 ZAR Pppn. Recommended!
