Bolivia
Camping in the other indicated campspot was not allowed. But the real "ojo del inca" lies on this spot. Camping is allowed, but no facilities at all. We paid 20 bolivianos (for family of 5), which is the price for using the thermal swimming pool. For this price, we could camp too.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Same as in 2020, the pool is still closed due to current inside the water which made ppl drown. We negotiated really hard with the women here (Irene) to stay for a night for 50 bol p/p since we had no other place to go (it's sensa now, so you need to be inside or off grid) and she agreed, but normally doesnt take visitors. Since 07:45 this morning she has been knocking on our camper with various questions when we leave and why we are here, she seems heavily confused, we're leaving sooner then planned because quite frankly she is just very annoying, don't recommend to go here
Report Check-InThe pool is officially closed, no visitors are allowed. We paid 100 Bol. to sleep in our van right next to the pool. We are a family of 4.
Report Check-InThe actual ojo is to hot to bath, the artificial basins are only luke warm. Lots of rubbish but quite.
Report Check-InBeautiful place to be away from cities. Good warm waters to baths.
Report Check-InCamped here for free. The thermal pool is 5 bobs. Lot of locals during the day coming for a BBQ.
Report Check-InThis place is closed for visiting or swimming. The owner told us that there are swirls on the water occasionaly, which are dangerous.
