The road runs for a ways along the beach - it’s busiest by the lighthouse corner - and has lots of parking. There are two public bathroom huts open during the day. The road is busy so it’s going to be loud with cars passing. We didn’t get any bad vibes here - sure, it’s a place for locals to bike, walk and hang out but no one paid us any negative attention. Just take your normal precautions and it will be fine.
