Paid 130pp but didn’t negotiate. They have hot showers which have been hard to come by so we were happy to pay. Camping area is nice

Report Check-In

If you have any questions or are wondering about the price (maybe better to negotiate) you can text them via WhatsApp: +50257802775
We spent great three nights there for 100ppp/night.
Can totally recommend!
But don’t forget: To enter this campspot, you have to pay 58ppp to enter the Nationalpark and another 30ppp to enter the area of the lake.
You don’t have to pay again if you stay for a few nights.

Report Check-In

Quoted a ridiculous M$130pppn for camping (Cabañas 600). As some before have mentioned you can possibly negotiate. The camping area is nice.

Love this place! One of my favorite spots in Mexico. Large grassy area for camping that overlooks the turquoise water of Lake Tziscao. The water is crystal clear and super nice for swimming and kayaking. There’s a restaurant with cheap, good food. The toilets are very clean and showers are warm. Price is 100 pesos pppn. We are here in the off season and it’s very quiet and peaceful

Report Check-In

thats all a huge grassy place with a few papalas, belongs to the Hotel, nice views, swimming in lake possible, hot shower (left and wait), water on the other side the building, no dump, nice Staffel, 100PpP (they try 130PpP), no discount for staying longer

Report Check-In

We stayed based on the comments here but it wasn't great, there was an event with about 200 people and the toilets were not cleaned once! It was pretty bad. Lovely location though. 100 mxn/night/person for camping

Nos quedamos por los comentarios aquí pero no nos gustó tanto, hubo un evento de 200 personas y no limpiaron los baños ninguna vez! Estaban bastante sucios. 100 mxn por noche por persona para acampar.

Report Check-In

Safe and quiet night

This is the nicest campground on the lake. Good restaurant, nice owners, hot showers and WiFi near the reception. Lots of fun stuff to do here. Easy walk to the Guatemalan village just across the border (no passports needed). Omar at the reception can arrange a “tuki tuki” moto taxi to the Cinco Lago trailhead. On the way back we found a tuki tuki at the main mirador near Lago Agua Tinto to return to the campsite. It’s a great hike!

Report Check-In

We stayed here for one night after staying at the place down the road. This one has a better location and there’s lots of room to park with a nice view of the lake. We paid 200 pesos for two people for one night. If you don’t park too far away from the reception you can use the wifi. Hot shower.

Report Check-In

100 pesos per person to pitch your tent. beautiful camp space. There is wifi and there are clean toilets and hot showers.

Report Check-In

Nice place by the lake as already mentionned. showers only had cold water. you need to pay a park fee of 25pesos pp to get to the place. 80pp to camp. many other nice lakes to visit around.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Good spot. Came for one night ended up staying three. 80 pesos per person... you can park on a big grassy field and have access to nice showers and bathrooms inside the Wi-Fi even worked from the lawn. Got a little busy on the weekend but all in all a nice spot for a couple of days.

Report Check-In

Spent the night at this incredible beautiful location. It was a very windy evening so could not really sit outside but nevertheless great view.
Paid 100 pesos pp.
Appreciated the hot shower and clean bathroom. Seems like low season, mostly empty restaurant and cottages.

Report Check-In

We stopped here for the new year.
We pay 100 pesos per person which was huge ! The receptionist that we didn't find super nice said because it was high season.
The place offers a beautiful view on the lake but the owner were really not nice but it was certainly because we were so tired to pay 100p

Report Check-In

Beautiful location on the lake. Clean bathrooms, hot showers, pretty good restaurant. Good WiFi. Receptionist spoke fluent English and was very helpful.

Report Check-In

Beautiful clear turquoise lake on the border with Guatemala. We were told it's the only place to camp in the area. Had to pay to enter the park, and again to enter the town of Tziscao (we managed to avoid this). Paid 50pp to camp on a grassy area in our vans. You can walk about 10 mins away to another lake adjoining this one, where you can cross into Guatemala by foot and shop at a little market (clothes, handicrafts, coffee, cacao, food etc) there is a nice little cascade and a small pier where you can jump into the lake that is half Mexican, half Guatemalan. We walked on a small path that took us through a little coffee plantation to get there. Cool place. Bathrooms are clean, showers hot (ask to turn hot water on).

Report Check-In

Nice grassy area to camp on the lake. Windy when we were here. Bartered down to 60 pesos per person. Super nice people. Dog was welcome. Lots of stars, flowers, lighten bugs and nice scenery.

Report Check-In

Like described, but now 80 Pesos p.P.
The Bathrooms are closed at night.

Report Check-In

What a view! You can park almost with your wheels in the lake. Showers and toilets are decent. We stayed on a cold and windy night, make sure you can get out:)

Report Check-In

we stayed a night camped by the lake. paid 100p for two people. He nearly turned us away due to a dog, and wanted him on leash. on the second day it was terrible weather, so we asked about the cabins. Started out at 550p quickly droped to 350p, and after saying we would like 3 nights he was willing to drop the price to 300p. Cabins have hot water, two double beds and electricity. Just as we were packing up to move into a cabin he remembered the dog and said no dog in cabins. We walked down the road towards the other camping/cabins to check prices and dog situation and in the middle of the two camp grounds pined on iovelander there are some other Cabins called Cabins Las Angeles. Paid 250p per night for 3 night, dog no problem, electricity, hot water and two double beds.

Report Check-In

Awesome place to stay, probably our favorite so far in Chiapas. 50 MXN pp, wifi slow but workable. Hot showers. Beers for 20 MXN. A 15 minute walk from the Guatemalan border.

Probably fine for big rigs.

Report Check-In

We paid 50p pp but we're told by Roberto (who speaks English) that the price is going up to 80p. nice location on lake. we were able to get power with an extension cord to the reception. no telcel reception here, only Tigo. Wi-Fi was good. Super quiet and safe.

Report Check-In

Beautiful lake and camping on a grassy area right on shore. 200 pesos plus 50 p municipal charge plus 62p for the federal charge. Locals are very friendly. No cell but internet works ok.

Report Check-In

Camped in the drive way of one of the cabanas with permission of the manager as there was nobody else there. The place has a restaurant, clean restrooms and hot showers. It was unusually cold (7 C) according to the people running the place so we only stayed one night. On warmer days you can kayak ,hike and visit the other close by lakes. The place was peaceful and safe.

Report Check-In

Beautiful campground on the lake. $50 per person with wifi, hot showers, and a restaurant. Can't beat it!

Report Check-In

50MXN/Person, lakefront sites, no wifi when we were here, vendors who try to sell their products. Water for the shower didn't work in the morning, but after i told the owner it took 5 minutes and then everything worked. Restaurant available. Kajaks for rent. Nice english speaking staff. Beautiful Spot!

Report Check-In

MX$50/person/night. Dog not a problem. Did not encounter anyone who spoke English. Access to nice hotel facilities. Beautiful location, camped right in front of the lake. Unimpressive town with unfriendly people and not much to buy. No gate or anyone around at night. We were awoken at 3:15am to someone crouched down by our tent whispering, we only speak English so we couldn't understand it. When I hurriedly came out of the tent preceded by the dog he was walking away saying things angrily at me, the only words I understood had something to do with Americans staying out of Mexico.

Report Check-In

Community operated. Pay $50 MXP per person to park in front of an empty cabin. These go for $400 MXP. Really beautiful setting and near a town with lots of amenities. Working WiFi was a plus.

Report Check-In

A very nice location on the lake unfortunately the lake was flooded from lots of rain and we had to camp on the driveway. No cellphone signal and wifi was down also. We paid 100 pesos/ vehicle. One of the hosts speaks really good English making communication very easy.
