Well maintained and professionally run campsite on the lagoon with views over the lagoon and the Indian Ocean. Driveway and campsite suitable for BigRig (8×2.4×3.8m).
Report Check-InVery nice Caravan park with lots of shade. Nice clean ablutions. Enjoy the lagoon in front of you and hear the distant waves of the sea. Paid R 170 pppn. This might be a mid season rate.
Report Check-InWell kept caravan park with grass and nice views. Stands is not to small and staff is friendly and very helpfull. The negative about the park is that it really expensive compared to the same standard of parks. There prices in the off season ( winter ) is not attractive to the thousands of people that are on the road during this period specially to enjoy the lower prices during this time. I can just mentioned that my caravan was the only one in the park for two days. There is a few hundred stands available. This proofs my statement.
Park close to shopping malls and close to N2.
Report Check-InVery nice campsite, good ablutions, washing machine R50. The lagoon is relaxed to swim. Hire kayak R150 4 hours.
We paid R160pppm and children 90. Our 5 years old was free of charge.
We thought to stay 2 nights but ended up for 5 nights.
Easy walk to the Checkers.
Go for lunch/dinner to Enrico Pizza!
Huge caravan park. Nice sites at the lagoon (most of them with not a lot of privacy). Very friendly owner and very unfriendly and lazy staff. Ablutions are clean. ZAR 160 ppn.
We stayed there off season during the week. Wouldn’t stay here if it’s busy…
Huge camp with really fantastic campsites along the lagoon; during busy season it’ll be hard to get one of these sites but we went just at the end of busy season. Definitely worth a visit if you like the beach or a beautiful sunset. We took pool liloes and really enjoyed some down time after a lot of travelling. Each campsite has a braai stand which is especially nice at the beach with good weather. Well kept ablutions. Plet itself has some nice restaurants and there are grocery shops nearby. It’s also not far from Robberg with good hikes (worth a visit if you have time!).
Report Check-InVery big campground with huge grassy sites and big and clean toilets and showers. Not many campers there but all the sites at the lagoon were taken. We found a quiet place in the back with nobody around. 150 ZAR p.P.
Report Check-InTypical south african caravan park, busy at weekends, a few nice pitches directly at the water but the majority of sites has no privacy. Much shade from trees, spotless ablutions, hot water showers. They rent out canoes for 140 ZAR for half a day. For camping we paid ZAR 280 per night for two people in a car with rooftop tent.
Report Check-InVery nice camp sites, especially on the banks of the river, which suited us. Ablutions very neat and tidy, with nice hot water. Will definitely visit again!
Report Check-InBig campsite next to the lagoon. Some waterfront pitches. Lots of trees for shade or wind protection. Very quiet at night when we were there. Clean facilities with hot showers, good wash up area. Price 130rand pp.
Report Check-InWonderful place, private pits with electricity and water, clean, very good ablutions, awesome lagoon
Recommendable *****
Grassy caravan and camping park with shaded and sunny sites, all with water and electricity points (shared). Waterfront sites are a bit cooler. Family orientated, so is safe for kids to ride/run around, with a play area. Ablutions are clean with hot water.
Report Check-InHuge place directly at the lagoon with spacious places and good ablutions.
