Report Check-In

We spent couple nights at the base of the pyramid but is better the street next to the pure water point. More trees and space for parking. Very silent and safe nights. Very close to the historic center. Thursday, Friday and Saturday there are projections about Izamal history at 8pm, starts from the canyons park.

Report Check-In

Spent two nights here. We were the only ones parked here and it got very quiet and calm at night. Walking distance to the square through the cosy yellow streets. We also climbed up to the pyramid from the side, and later found out that there would have been a main entrance to it. However, it was free to enter the pyramid. Nice town.

Report Check-In

Number of leveled parking spots just adjunct to the pyramid base. Some may even accommodate larger (>24Ft) rigs. The street is used during the day by moto & podestrian traffic, as well as horse drawn carriages, therefore the day parking is relatively secure.

During nighttime the street lights come on, the traffic stops, and it is quiet.

* 5 bars on Telcel
* Easy walking distance to the center

We did stay 1 night, had no problems.

Also in the center of he village if you park next to the tourism you have free wifi. Police told we could stay and that is safe they are there all night! In the morning we woke up with the police band playing the hino of Mexico

Report Check-In

Quit camp spot. Safe and free. At the back of the pyramid a lady has a small stand with food in the evening. We had the best hamburguesas since we left Belgium there, very cheap as well
