Stayed here 1 night, the owners were super nice. 6,000 per person. Electricity & warm showers. Some friendly dogs as a bonus too!

Un lugar muy tranquilo para pasar unos días cerca de Santiago y visitarlos alrededores. Hay espacio para motorhomes, incluso los más grandes, sorteando los árboles de la entrada. Los dueños don encantadores, también hay cabañas. Agua potable, electricidad, 6000 pesos chilenos por persona. Recomendable.

A very quiet place to spend a few days near Santiago and visit the surrounding area. There is space for motorhomes, even the largest ones, avoiding the trees at the entrance. The owners are charming, there are also cabins. Drinking water, electricity, 6000 Chilean pesos per person. Recommendable.

Nice place, friendly owners. Good hot showers. There are some dogs, so you don’t have to be afraid of them.

The owners are very lovely people and both also speak German because they lived in Germany for many years. We payed 6000CLP per person per night. There is a nice grassy area to park your van. We got our own bathroom with toilet and a hot shower. There are also some friendly playful dogs running around.

We stayed at this nice campground for 6000 CLP each Person with own bathroom and full service. Visiting Santiago is very easily with Taxies colectivo and Metro.
Four days at the Roan Jasé observatory. Manuela and Leo explain the starry sky to you in easily understandable words. The food, of course, all homemade, is very tasty. We'd love to come back on the way back. We felt very comfortable. Thank you Manuela and Leo.

This campsite is brilliant. Clean toilet, electric points , swimming pool etc but it is also a really astronomical educational Center, with a scale model of the solar system. We spent the evening in the observatory looking at stars and the moon. The hosts are amazing. Love this place.

Price still the same. There is a swimming pool too-you can use it for 3000CLP/p/day. Very refreshing. You have your own bathroom - clean and good hot water and stream. One of best campsite in Chile on our way from south to north.

lovely campsite run by a very nice couple and 2 friendly dogs, 10,000 pesos for 2 people in a campervan. we had a lovely view of the stars at night time

Nice camp site. The owners speak French and German (on top of Spanish of course). Electricity, private hot shower, tables, chairs. You need to pay an additional 5,000pp to use the pool. The dogs are adorable, however they bark a lot during the night. Earplugs needed !

As mentioned before, this a small, cosy family-run campsite for only 5000 a night. There is plenty of shade, an outdoor sink for washing dishes and you get a key to a private bathroom with excellent hot water, so in terms of necessities you are well taken care of.

If you are staying in a tent, there are two things that you need to be aware of:
1) the ground is hard and rocky, so the tent pegs will not go in far
2) the campground dog is very mischievous and will try to play with anything, including your tent pegs and strings. Be careful not to leave anything out in the open.

Of course, if you are in a camper van, these will not be issues.

Plenty of space with your own set bathroom. Cold water but electricity and light at each site. 5000 clp pp/night. Friendly owners. Dogs were cute but also have a habit of grabbing anything you leave out. Not an issue if you pack up everything though!

Great basic place. All info still the same. Go to the Observatory if it's a clear night. We paid 5000 Clp per person per night.

Very nice owner, speaks French, German and Spanish. Price went up to 5000 pesos per person. The facilities are pretty old, but you do get a key to your private bathroom and the showers have really hot water with good pressure. Make sure you don't leave shoes or stuff around your campervan or tent at night, because the dog of the neighbors tends to steal them. With help of the owner we found back one flipflop, but the other one was gone with the wind haha.

we stayed here for 2 nights (5000ppn) and got a tour from Manuela through her observatory in German (7500pp). it was a nice and quiet stay

Now 4000pppn. The pool is an extra 3000pp. Sandy places, there were also some tents. Facilities a bit run down but hot water in the shower. Electricity and light at the site. Close to the road but not busy after 23:00.

We stayed two night here. The price is now 4000$/pp for a night. The camping area to park is not to big, but there is three, so good to stay all day without the heat of the sun!
The shower are simple, sometime with hot shower, sometime not. The owners are really nice and they speak French. A good place and not expensive!

4,000 per adult 2,000 per child for camping, plus same again if you use the pool. Nice campsite.
Definitely do the observatory! (if you speak Spanish). The senora gives an interesting talk in a little museum, then you go upstairs and she retracts the roof and tells you about the stars and shows you through her big telescope.

We stayed here one night. Really nice place. It was really calm. I think we were the only ones. Slept in our rooftoptent. The owner didn't even mention the observatory. There is a pool (extra cost), electricity on each spot, wifi, toilets and hot water. Most of the spots are under the trees. Really nice owners. The price was 3000 pp. But they asked us to share that from january the first of 2020 they will raise it to 4000 pesos pp.

Sympa et très bon rapport qualité prix Les propriétaires sont très sympa. Pas d’herbes pour les tentes. La piscine en supplément. Les campings voisins sont du même style et plus cher. Et le reste est dans la description. ;))

Nice place, 3000pp. The good pools (also one for toddlers) are 3000 extra. For camping they only accept foreigners and people who come for the astronomy, so pretty quiet.

Update: we ended up spending 6 weeks here: getting our Motorhome ready for our Panamericana trip, entertaining our visiting son, and getting our affairs sorted out in Santiago -- all very convenient as it's close to the big city, and quite affordable. Don Leopoldo and Dona Manuela, the campground owners and operators, were specially nice and helpful. They also do laundry for 3000 pesos per load, and you can ask them to call the local propane guy to have your empty cilinders replaced with full ones for the normal cost. Their astro observatory is a special treat, they have very good equipment and really know the night sky. We highly recommend the stay!

Still only CLP 3000 per person, even though we're in two vehicles (motorhome and pickup truck). Don Leopoldo is a great host, very accommodating and did everything to make us feel welcome. Looking forward to visiting his Astronomical Observatory as soon as the sky clears up.

Very nice Place. Price is still 3000 CLP pp for camping. Owner speaks german. With the bus 72B you need one hour to Puente Alto, from where you come to the metro of Santiago (Station Las Mercedes). The bus comes every 30 minutes and you pay 900 CLP. The last bus from Puente Alto, back to Roan Jase leaves at 20.40.

legit. clean hot and slow to really slow. Manuala is also very legit. Still 3000p.
all 6-7 pets are also legit. end of April is walnut season, watch where you park. it rains nuts sometimes

Very nice place with simple observatory here and some cool space stuff.
3000pp which is very reasonable and what most other camping places should be charging.
One hot shower!
