Now 370 pesos for a room for two people with a huge bed, a tv and a nice hot shower. What’s nice is that you can park right in front of your room (so we could just cook in our van and eat in the room, haha). Why that is…? It’s an auto hotel! But the front area with rooms looks totally nice and decent. Behind the reception (which is at the parking area) there’s the tacky auto hotel area with curtains and people can take a shower in the reception area, haha. However, would recommend for the price. WiFi is there, but just in the parking area and in the reception area. Doesn’t work at all in most rooms.

Nice hotel in Amecameca. We paid 350 pesos for a large room with a king sized bed and bathroom with hot shower. Poor wifi in room but good wifi near office. Hotel has a large parking lot accessible for any sized vehicle. We spent the night at the hotel a night of camping in the nearby volcano national park (Popo/Izta) and an awesome hike the next day.
