Its now 3usd for two people and a dog. Quite expensive for what you get. Its a 5minute stop. But impressive tree 😍.

Now it cost 1 usd per person, worth it. the tree has 400 years. ceibos are 2nd biggest in the world after sequoias in USA

Big tree you can take a small trail of 100m to get at the foot of the tree !

Don’t miss it if you’re around... not sure about the coordinates but you can ask the locals and they’ll guide you. It’s an old and impressive tree.

Use the coordinates mentioned below as this aren’t still the correct ones. Not worth a detour in our opinion as you will see more of these on your way when you drive and walk through the jungle. Nice to have a look if you stay in the village.

Our maps me gave us the wrong coordinates. To get to the place, after The Banana Lodge, drive further (about 1km) and you will come to a big bridge. After the bridge there is a small walking path at the right (about 100m), in front of the first street to the left.
