Something not right?

Description

A fairly new campsite, no grass, individual ablutions but in blocks, some of the sites are tough to get into with truck because of trees, electric on all sites, when we were here there was no water at all in the river and a lot of machinery had turned it into a quarry like area, not a nice outlook really, it is a working farm and can be very noisy in the morning (5.30am!), owner is very friendly and helpful, 300zar per night for 2 and vehicle

Nice campsite on river’s edge. Private ablutions for each campsite, basic but serviceable. Lots of shade. Super helpful owner, Pieter +27 (0)72 436 9377. R300 for the site (2 adults + 2 kids & overland truck). Sites 16 & 15 accessible for big trucks, 14 & 13 would also work.

Name has changed to Moreson River Cottages and Campsites. There are now 16 campsites, each with individual ablution, and two cottages. There are now water in the river, but it is seasonal. The owner is very friendly, and although this a working farm we really enjoyed to experience a bit of the farming operations. The campsite is in the Slanghoek Valley towards Bainskloof and is a picturesque drive with lots of wine estates for wine tasting and restaurants for fine dining. Camping per night R300 up to 4 people, additional R50 pp to bring to a max of 6 people. Each campsite has electricity. Cottage R800 per night, sleeps 4, also additional R50 to max of 6.
