Something not right?

Description

Tiny beach with huge trees, a campfire, hidden from the road. A large house is just above. Check-in their as a matter of politeness. Avoid fire when dry. This is the best view on both volcanoes you can find on the lake. To access from the road: 50 meters after the mirador, a path goes down to the lake right in front of the big house.

Latest Check-Ins

The place is now closed with a chain, impossible to pass.

Beautiful spot. Had some trash, we picked up as much as we could. It’s very exposed to wind coming from the south so it’s worth checking the wind forecast :).

Gorgeous little, secluded place! Some trash around which we cleaned, decent Movistar reception, nice to swim in the lake, no facilities. 2 times some locals came for a bit but soon left again, apart from that quiet even in main season. The house opposite to the entrance of the little track leading to the spot seems uninhabited. The short track is quite overgrown and narrow and bumpy so a bit of clearance would be better.

Report Check-In

All as described, nice but some trash, road was ok 2wd even in moderate rain.

Small rocky clearing right on the edge of the lake. Our pathfinder had no trouble turning around but not enough room for big rigs or trailers. Tents would be fine- but would get quite damp if it was raining- not much dry ground. Gorgeous views right across the lake, and very quiet. We didn’t see the owner of the house across the street (looked quite empty), and only the occasional car passing. Lovely.

Report Check-In

Small leveled solid parking area in front of the lake, but if you have 4x4 maybe you can drive through the rock beach and find a leveled space. View to the volcano is spectacular. Lots of firewood, blackberries and super quiet at night.

Report Check-In

Absolutely stunning place to camp with your tent for the night. Small grassy area sheltered by trees just behind the beach, ideal for 1 tent. Incredible sunset colours (you don’t see the sun setting, it’s in the other direction but the highlights and reflections are beautiful). Weather was too bad for a good sunrise but the lake was calm, quiet and misty. 10/10.

Nice place, very quiet (it was a grey sky and a bit rainy day), hidden from the road on which there is a very little traffic. We saw the man who lives in the house on the other side of the road, walking with his dog, asked him if it was possible to stay, he said yes of course, and that there is often people staying here. He also added that we have to clean our trash so this place stays nice. We had no problem to access this place with our basic 2WD van

Report Check-In

Stayed here last night with a van and 2 tents, ok for one night. Hidden from the road and a bit windy but not terrible. Not a lot of space but enough for a few tents. The big house at the entrance is now abandoned. As I see in every camp spot, please take a plastic bag with you and carry your toilet paper out with you. Or at least bury it

way down is ok overgrown by wild berries. gravel area so better sleeping in car but tent is ok too! sheltered from trees. shade in the afternoon!

Report Check-In

Perfect wildcampspot! Entree road is a bit rough, but should be doable with 2wd. Not visible from the road, and bushes that perfectly protect from the wind! Some trash unfortunately, but great views!

Report Check-In

The dirt track down to the lake is rather steep and in a poor condition. Do not drive down unless you are sure that your vehicle will make it back up. In doubt, use the parking area of the mirador. There are also some trees and bushes that grant wind protection.

Report Check-In

Amazing, for one or two small rigs, protected from wind, view to volcans, possible fire.

Report Check-In

Really cool hidden spot. Very windy at night. Amazing views of the 3 volcanoes. Recommended

Easy ascent to a small beach. Deep tracks so i rode the grass. You can turn on the beach to return the next day. Up to7mt vehicle is fine. Neighbours came to say Hi and after a cola every'thing is fine.

COOL stuff: Dear God awesome view on all three vulcanos. And the angel is just right to fotograph them all. Sundown was great. Surprisingly sheltered from the wind if you camp behind the first set of big trees/ bush on your right (i have a jeep with rooftop tent and just blocked the road sideways). But morning Almost made me Cry, man this was beautyful with a clear sky. On nov. 13th the sun rose right out of the top of osorno. (and yes filmed that in HD). And best 'thing was i watched it right from my comfy bed! Man, happy days to live.
