Argentina
A well known mechanic, usually the man the other shops go-to when they need a hard to find part. Although Luis didn't have my part he searched all the nearby towns. Even though my part was nowhere to be found he eventually had his friend locate the part in Buenas Aires, buy the part and get it delivered by plane. An amazing man with a big heart and a true passion for motorcycles and also a great cook. He took me in as family and let me stay at his house until the part arrived, not only providing a place to sleep but also 3 meals a day. Our relation evolved and soon he was referring to me as his hijo. By far the best experience I've had while traveling. I'm set to leave tomorrow but he's trying to convince me to stay one more night to celebrate his mom's 91st birthday, it's tempting but I'm gonna have to sleep on it ;) I'm anxious to ride again but experiences like this are why I travel

Great place, even tough his father, and owner of the garage, was not here, his son Esteban opened the garage for us to use the tools to change tire on a saturday! He brought us to the gomeria of his friend when we saw the rear tire was to hard to change. We spent the afternoon chatting and were invited for coffee.
Kind of places you love when you travel, definitely recommend.
Report Check-InThis guy is really friendly and honest. He will try to help you. Be carefull about the price. He put castrol full synthetic oil in but the price was way to high. It was a lot. He told me it was special oil imported. I paid and checked in town. Price was much cheaper. Went back and told him. He said that it was a mistake and gave me the difference back. So in a way he is kinda honest. Maybe it was a genuine mistake I don't know and I don't intend to blacken his name. He did return my money. Always check for safety. Anyway he is a nice guy and loves motorcycles.
