Really good meal here (we camped at the inland hospedaje). The owner was friendly and helpful. We had langostinos, breaded fish, and delicious maracuya juice.
Report Check-Inpeaceful and safe night here.
police make some rounds.
we came from Lima till here to avoid all those warnings regarding handgun robberies.
nothing special, it's a fisherman village, and weather can be hazy.
Nice atmosphere, friendly and helpful owner, nice food, seaview, music, all good.
Report Check-InFunny, I wanted just to go to Tortuga beach because of the nice reviews and choose this restaurant to eat something and they offered me to park the car close by. And later I saw on IOverlander that TaraWasi was already mentioned. It is a super place, nice music, nice fresh food, very friendly owners Julian and Nalda, I will never forget them. Had a very good night sleep and a fresh swim
Report Check-InOne of several restaurants (with rooms) who'll share their bathroom with you if you eat there. There are also public toilets/showers in the village which are super clean and modern (s/3 for a shower) so that'd be a cheaper option if you prefer to cook your own food. You can park and stay anywhere on the sea front. This time of year the place is dead. Julián (from País Vasco) seems nice enough and is happy to take guests. Pebble beach, no sand, desperately in need of some love.
Report Check-InParked close to the “Tortugas” sign in front of Pablo restaurant, which was the only place which was open when we arrived after dark. Level ground nice view for breakfast (sat on one of the benches). The city was deserted. No facilities.
Report Check-InWe overnight between Tortugas restaurants and Teyko. Nobody bothered us, super quiet night and we feel safe.
Not noise at all! No dogs, no music and no trash too!!! (maybe its because is off season). Super easy to big rig.
Is a small restaurant and hostel, but stayed here in front of the restaurant on de beach ! Is a good place
Report Check-Ingood spot on the long way to the north. Not the hight season and the restaurants are closed in the evening.
Report Check-InPhoto op. nice bay pebble beach cool water didnt see any turtles. First clean town since Ecuador.
Report Check-InTarawasi was closed.
Bodega Chaposa next to was open.
Save and quiet night.
Food was a bit expensive and not so good, so better only drink something and ask for overnight stay and the toilet and give a little tip for this.
Sur la plage face à la baie pas de service mais tranquille et sur.
Trés bon accueil des habitants
Julian the boss of the restaurant is very friendly and the food is very good....
Report Check-InParked on the beach and had a beer at the restaurant. They didn't do food that night so we went elsewhere for dinner. Friendly restaurant owner.
Report Check-InRestaurante Tarawasi, es un Español que se llama Julián, muy agradable y dispuesto a ayudar .
Report Check-InBeach is not bealtifull. Only to sleep. Quiet and safe place.
Report Check-InNice and quiet place to stay overnight. The restaurant is very pricy we paid 90 soles for 2 adults and one child, there was supposingly no ingredients left to make the lower priced dishes. It was definitely not value for money.
Report Check-InThe owner, Julian, is from Spain and his wife, Nelda is from Peru. They are closed from May to July (when they go to Spain) and Jan and Feb is peak season and very busy so sleeping on the front might be a problem in these months. They have 4 rooms available from 70s matrimonial now (140 in peak season) Very quiet and peaceful now and it is a beautiful bay. They even had a large band of people collecting litter this morning, very rare for Peru!
Report Check-InNice place, very quiet, free, no commodities but you can stop where you want, very safe
Report Check-InYou can stay before the restaurant. The owner also allowed us to use the toilet and the shower. And the food is very tasty.
