Suytun Cenotes | Established Campground

We were there around 8.30 am, we were the first ! We had the cenote only for us during 15-20 mn ! Then a lot of people from 9-9.30 am… We did 2 cenotes, very nice ! Bathroom and showers very clean.

We paid 450 Pesos for a night and the entrance to the Cenote.

The online price for the Cenote per person is 130 Pesos instead of 150. So you pay 190 Pesos for camping.

Campsite is ok. It was quiet at night. Maybe because there where no guests when we stayed. It might be different with guests in the Cabañas.

Bathroom is clean, but the cold shower on the roof is not in the best condition.

Relatively big pool, which you can use from 8 am to 8 pm.
Gets shady in the late afternoon.

I would not recommend this Cenote thou. Instead I would look for a cenote that is not so overcrowded with tourists.
For us it wasn't worth the money!

To get to the entrance you have to walk through a souvenir shop. Then you get vests that you have to wear, for reasons that I can't explain. It doesn't matter if you're a good swimmer or not. If you ask why wearing these vests is obligatory, you usually only get the answer: "It's the law".
Although we were there half an hour after the cenote opened, there was a long line to have a picture taken on a jetty in the middle of the cenote.

All the barriers, the vests, the man-made jetty to have your picture taken, the crowd of tourists, the noise and the benches on the sides no longer remind you of a natural cenote where you can admire the clear and refreshing water surrounded by stalactites and enjoy them quietly.

The best Cenote we have been in so far is Cenote Chemuyil. This is just marked on iOverlander, luckily not on Google.
It's free, cristal water and you are almost by yourself (without life vests of course :)) When we entered this Cenote there was just a person bathing. Totally quite. We just heard the bats. This was our best Cenote experience in it's natural beauty.
Then we visited this one and we were shocked. Just went in and out again... pretty expensive overnight camping in this case :)

Great place to camp when visiting the cenote suytun. WiFi fast enough. Showers and toilets clean and with toilet paper. Low pressure though but enough for showering. Paid 450 pesos for 1 night including 2 entrances for the cenote per person. We asked to extend for one more night without including the entrance to the cenote but they said it’s a fixed price, so we didn’t extend.

They ask for MXP200/pP. You can use facilities (WC, shower, swimming pool), but don’t expect them to be clean...

Wifi is very fast! That’s a plus!

The Suytun Cenote was very crowded with people taking photo shootings... so was not really enjoyable.

Go early in the morning (8am) to have the place for yourself.
There is a second cenote just near the main entrance which is very beautiful as well - and no one there!!
FYI: At 10am there is a Maya Show in the main cenote. We didn’t attend.

All in all quite expensive, but worth a visit.

Some cenotes few kilometers on the other side of mex180 nicer and less visitors. paid 200 pes/p to stay in camper over night incl entrances to both cenotes. 30pes for life jacket to suytún. The other smaller cenote (pass cabaña 5), no swimm! is a little bit pzretty to take pictures, colondrinas ant To-birds. Moskitos!!

Très bien! Piscine propre, électricité, eau, douche (ok) et WC, wifi rapide et en plus une Cenote, eau claire où l'on peut nager! Pour 1 nuit, 350 pesos pour 2 personnes et 100 pesos de plus pour un enfant de plus de 10 ans soit 450 pesos pour nous 4 et entrée à la Cenote comprise. Il fait rajouter 20 pesos pour les gilets, seulement pour ceux et celles qui veulent nager, sinon pas obligatoire. Restaurant seulement jusqu'à 17h.

The camping area is not that nice, some places between some trees, basically on the parking lot. But the pool area is very nice, wifi works fine in the camping area and near the pool. Pool is huge and clean. We enjoyed a whole afternoon there with some beers, a good place to survive the heat and relaxing after some ruins. Paid 250 Pesos. Cenotes were also nice.

As described, a restaurant/bar with big pool that offers about 20 cabañas in a nice garden setting next to the cenote Saytun.
We were charged 250 Pesos for the truckcamper (with 2 persons, without electricity). Includes the use of pool, hammocks, fast wifi, toilet (flush / with TP) and shower plus entrance in the 2 cenotes in the area (afternoon and again the following morning). Drinks at the pool bar are only 50 Pesos ;-) A relief after the expensive Mayan coast between Tulum and Cancun :-)

Quiet place with Cabanas who has a little shady area for camping. We paid 250,- pesos for a small Van and two people without electricity. Entrance to the Cenote for 24h included but you have to rent a live jacket to swim in this Cenote and that sucks. It’s obligated but they charge you 30 pesos for one! Also WiFi, pool and cold showers.

They charge you 70MP to get in the 2 cenotes and spend the day at the camping (it's called "pasadía"), using their facilities. You just have to pay the entrance ticket at the camping site (not at the cenote's entrance). Swimming pool, toilet, shower and wifi.

We paid $350 pesos w/electricity. Cenotes are also included, you just need to pay $20 pesos for a vest (mandatory). The location is pretty, you have plenty of space to set up. Pool is nice. Didn't eat at restaurant. Bathrooms not at its best. Too much light at night, better if you don't park near the restaurant . Works for a couple of nights.

Great spot and perfect for visiting Suytun which is a must! Hook up is available as well as water, very good wifi and a decent restaurant and pool. Quiet at night and staff are helpful and friendly. And if you stay there, it's around $350 for four of us you get free tickets for the cenotes also, so it's very worth it. Comfortable spot.

There was nobody here when we arrived. Facilities looked nice with pool and restaurant. Didn't see the cenotes. But the lady running the place wanted $400/425 for a site without/with electric. She said the prices have gone up and all iOverlander prices posted are 2 years old. We didn't stay and went to Cenote Puebla Fantasma instead for $200 and it was awesome.

Nice please for a break. Quit even on weekends. Met other Overlanders too. WiFi really fast. Great pool with hammocks and a great cenote belong to this place. Spend 3 nights, 300 Pesos p. night for 2 people and a big rig. Entrance for 2 cenotes is included. Restaurant looks nice too, hadn't try the food. Friendly people.

Nice place to spend the night outside of Valladolid. $300 pesos for two adults and two kids camping in truck camper with power and fast wifi. Need a long extension cable. Has a pool, shower and clean bathrooms. And so quiet! There is also a restaurant which we ate breakfast at. Cenotes are worth checking out.

This place is really great. We had lunch at the restaurant and it was delicious. The cenotes are amazing. One is for swimming and one is just to look at. Life jackets are required for the swimming cenote. Nice restrooms and a pool.

this is a little cabanas hotel and restaurant with some space for vehicles to camps. the pool was awesome and the bathrooms pretty clean. the cenotes are great and it's awesome to go when the tour buses are not there have the place to yourself. they will run you power and there is water available to fill your tanks. we stayed here a week and really enjoyed it.

We had to explain a few times that we are on two motorbikes and thus do not have a campervan but a small tent, but when they understood we were allowed to camp two nights for 50mxp per person per night including entrance to the cenotes. It was a bit hard to find a suitable place for our tent, but mostly because the staff had to call the owner a few times to answer my questions. Cold shower, upgraded FAST wifi and great swimming pool. We visited in low season and were the only ones. Friendly staff, bar and restaurant on site.

MX$50/person per night to tent camp. When I first asked about camping I think he thought I said we had a camper, he said it would be $250. When I explained that there would be two of us tent camping he asked the size of our car, when I told him it was small he said it would be MX$100 total for the night including access to the cenotes both days. Great spot and great cenote! The cenote was fairly quite however the camping/cabana area was very noisy late into the night, looked like a boy/girl scout retreat for the weekend and another group of Americans. Wifi is so slow that it is not usable. Restaurant closed at 6pm.
