Ranger told us that it is not allowed camping here…
If you camp at the game reserve campsite it is now 40 pulas, but also you have to pay park fees and vehicles fees!
Report Check-InWe slept in this area about 70m from the road. In the late afternoon and in the night some cars passed, but non of them stopped or even saw us. We had a quiet night. Great bushcamp before national park.
Report Check-InWe had a very quit night. We did not stay exactly on this spot but close by. We did a campfire in the evening and took it easy in the morning, nobody was there.
On the road you can find plenty lovely spots for wild camping and are able to drive a little bit further in the bush to be hidden by big trees.

many sites to discreetly bush camp along the road in to Matswere Gate. less csttle closer to the gate..... but few people. leave nothing but foot prints and enjoy.
Report Check-InI didn't went here but 5 km further from the gate. You can wildcamp at a lot of places along this road but there are cows and therefore people around so be aware of that. I heard people close by at nightfall so went to bed really early and got out at dusk.
