I think this is the correct location as I don’t want to add anymore wild camps tot he Salar. Here is a perfect little beach with wind protection just east of the large northern bay of the island. You can hike up for free and watch the sunset and youc an cook dinner out of the wind. We circled the whole island and this was the only spot without gusts. A great option on your first or last night on the Salar.
I’ll post some photos to help people find the spot.
