Something not right?

Description

This is down stream from Las Nubes. Careful, it is not on the same takeoff from 307. This one is apprx 16.14222,-91.26720 (look for the signs there are others similars places on the same takeoff).
Charged $30mnx/person for camping on a flat grassy field. Baños and regarderas are clean. River is amazing!
Took a guided canoe tour for $350mnx for the 2 of us and the dog. And walked to the mirador (nice view and if, like us, you miss the mirador on your way up. Continue ! cause an other kilometer or so you will reach a suspended bridge worth seeing).

We were charged 160 pesos for the three of us per night. Great place to do your dishes, very clean toilets. There was a problem with the showers when we were there but they were onto it. Only downside to the campsite was the ants! Hike to the mirador was quite a challenge with it being very overgrown and rainy season. First signpost lead us in the wrong direction. When we finally got there, the view was awesome though.

Really beautiful spot and nice camping! You can camp close to the river next to the picnic tables, there are proper toilets and showers as well. Prices seem to vary a bit, the first night we paid 60 pesos per person (including entrance I suppose), the second night 50 per person. You can swim in the river and take a hike up to a viewpoint. You should be able to reach the "real" Las Nubes by hiking from here for about an hour, but we didn't try, because we drove there during the day and moved on to this place for camping. At least there is a sign on the Las nubes sight pointing to Camping Paraiso at a 50 minute distance.

We are here now and it is so gourgous! The river is sooo blue! Prices are now 40 ppp for camping and 20 ppp for entrance and 30 ppp for the mirador. They have a new hike trail up a mountain for 100 ppp because you need a guide and its a 2 hours hike. The place is amazing!!! Very impressive!!

12km paved road to Loma Bonita (through Guadalupe Miramar), then correct dirt road through the village and 1km further.
Place looks well kept, hike to the mirador is really nice. Not in the village so no contact with locals except the ones who come here to drink liters of beers (no beer allowed in stores in this municipio). No size restrictions (we are 8*2.5*3.75m).

Not very friendly guys but nice place. Beware after rain some parts of the site are very soft and swampy. Short (1,400m) but steep hike to Mirador is well worth it. Allow yourself at least an hour before sunset to enjoy it - trust us, it's no fun finding your way back in the dark!! 😁 We told them we were going but they didn't charge us for taking the trail. Wi-fi not working. 30pesos pppn.

There are two roads to get to Loma Bonita (maps me sent us through the impossible one so be carefull). The right one is the one that goes through Guadalupe Miramar. There is a big sign at the exit from MEX307. We payed 30 pesos for overnight plus 10 for the entrance p/p. We did the hike and is beatifull.

Report Check-In

Yo get here use the road that goes through “Guadalupe Miramar”, Maps.me may guide you through an inaccessible road.
Unguided tour to the Mirador cost MXN 40 (expensive for what it is) but in case you go, continue the trail to a suspended bridge that takes you to Las Nubes Eco camp.
Slow WiFi, MXN 50 a day. Nice, clean place to relax a day or two.

Very nice spot... paid 30 to sleep in my hammock underneath trees... The walk to the Mirador is well worth it... They told me it's 50 Pesos extra... Since I went for sunset nobody checked... Watch out for the strong current in the river...

The given waypoint is correct but marks the entrance to the property. Large grassy area with new bathrooms with flush toilets and showers. Some shady spots for small rigs and tents near river. Great spot for swimming. Price still 30 M$/p plus 10 M$/p dayuse fee

The gps point is wrong. Keep going after you have "arrived" until you see a road turning right. Follow to the end. Be careful, the road is not very good and is quite steep in some places. Charged us 150 pesos for 4 people for 2 nights. Everything is under construction, no running water in toilets but used kitchen sink for washing dishes. There was no one around. The river is AMAZING. Follow the little hiking trail and find the cascades with swimming holes everywhere. Just beautiful, and no people.

*update*
I think the GPS took us the wrong way to access the same river, but on the other side. I guess to access the other spot, you need to take another exit off the highway. This place is at the same river but on the other side and is called Paraiso Cascadas Las Brisas.
