Plenty of space to pitch up, on a moto gated so safe. Gloria is a great host. Food and cold lemon juice on arrival :-) US$10 camp, food extra. Flushing toilet. YouTube:

Came by bicycle, one person and tent. We agreed on 20 $ for three nights. Great spot right next to the pool. Very quiet, lovely people.

Gloria is the sweetest! After we sat out by ten gate for about 5-10 min we asked the neighbors across the street if they knew her and he called her for us. She made us some lunch (we had pizza) and she sat a d chatted with us about Nicaragua and a lot of Central America. She charged us $10 for camping and another $12 for 2 beers and some pizza. Highly recommend this place it was a great stop after an exhausting boarder crossing!

After being turned away at Finca Forestal San Nicholas up the road after an hour side trip at dusk, we returned to town and came here.
She opened the gate at 7-8pm without any thought and even prepped us a dinner after a long day in the Road.
Highly friendly and very accommodating
It is in town (edge of town and not big rig friendly), that is the only negative I can add.
They have a dog that barked a lot I. The night BUT we have three dogs and believe that is part of the issue. Their dog was a sweetheart, I believe she was looking out for her family.
Great meal, great hosts and I would recommend with out question.

A great place after the border! Quiet and clean. The owners are really friendly and the pizzas are nice, too.
We paid for our two pizzas, two beers, the night and coffee and sweets in the morning all together 1030L (two people with Landcruiser&dog)!
A great deal and the owners are perfect hosts, you feel very welcome and like home!

Good and safe place to stay after (or before) you cross the border. Very friendly. Basic but clean. Paid 360C

What a sweet introduction to Nicaragua. Even though our border experience wasn’t bad, it was still draining. So this ended up being the right place to stop for the night. It may look deserted, but Gloria and Hubert live there. Someone will come open the gate if you honk, I’m sure. We paid C200 each for a nice lunch and C350 for the night. Coffee, pan, and eggs for Caspian in the morning were free. There is a lovely pavilion with a hammock and a ton of seating, and it’s a good place to relax in the heat of the day. Good WiFi. We opted not to swim because the water was dirty. It is a fairly small parking lot. Even though we were the only ones there, we only felt there was one good place to park in our Gladiator. Not big rig friendly. Gloria and Hubert are just the sweetest. Caspian said Gloria reminded him of his Mimi (grandma), which is the highest compliment.

After a very long border crossing into Nicaragua we stopped here, and it was a welcome surprise. The owners were very friendly. They walked the WiFi password out to our camper, unfortunately the wifi was down while we were there. It is $10usd or 350C for camping. We also had 2 dinners of chicken breast, rice, fries, and salad. Dinner and camping was 700C. Like others say we were served coffee and bread the next morning. I tried to pay for that and she refused. Driving a F250 w pop up camper and it was a tight fit. Tighter getting out than in, but doable. It you are taller than about 2.8 meters you will have fewer selections of spots.

A great place to spend the night before or after crossing the border. Space can be a bit cramped, but facilities are nice and so are the views. Gloria is a wonderful person and she gave us coffee, fruit, and cookies for breakfast.

Cold showers and clean toilets.

Wouldn’t swim in that pool, however.

$10 or 350C per night.

The owners seem really friendly and
helpful. It is a little hard to find but worth the effort. We are going to try the border tomorrow morning but the owners say the border is closed because of covid-19. We are going to try and see what happens. We have been in Nicaragua now for 3 months. We have been gone now for almost 7 months. We would like to go home now.

Great place before or after border crossing. Owners are superfriendly and offered us free coffee and bread in the morning and even gave us some carambolas. Fast wifi, quiet at night, clean toilets and you can fill up potable water. Only the pool didn't look very inviting to go for a swim.

Nice one night stop. Gloria and her husband and warm and welcoming. They knew we were headed to the Honduran border early so served me a free coffee with sweet bread in the early morning. US$10 per van per night. Nothing else super special. Cold showers, bathrooms are pretty clean.

When you get to this town you will think you need to keep driving. I did think that . But this place is super relax , quite , nice and safe. Great place to stop before or after the border. Owner are super friendly. They are real Nicas. Friendly and welcoming. He knows a lot about the area and can give you good tips and she was super friendly. Her brother lives in Washington DC . When we arrived she gave us two orange juices and in the morning she gave us free coffee and fruit. Bathrooms and showers are just ok and pool looks nice but we didn’t use it.
The road is a dirty road and a bit rough but it’s only 200 meters. Not even 5 minutes driving.

Report Check-In

As mentioned, friendly owners. Decent wifi. Dinner was ok at best but we were charged 2500$C each, way overpriced. We did not check prices prior, our mistake.

Camping was 300.

Full bars of LTE with Claro too.

Great place to stop after a long day on the road. Gloria thr owner is super friendly and the food was great.

Report Check-In

The owner is super friendly and overall it is a great place to relax after the border crossing (or before).
The wifi is good and there are hammocks to relax. Swimming-pool is nice but there were a lot of dead bugs in there when we were here.
We paid 120 Cordoba per person for dinner, which was not special (rice, chicken and baked platos/bananas)
Our dog was allowed

Report Check-In

As noted. Nice secure friendly place. Good meal, and a pool!

Report Check-In

Nice place to stay, very nice people, 300 c per night for two of us, 70 C food per person. There is no menu exists, so just ask for traditional dish. Pool is nice too, very refreshing in the morning. WiFi is super fast, you can have Skype calls without any issue. Would love to go back!

Report Check-In

Great little spot in the hills overlooking the town. The owners are incredibly attentive if you make friends, looked after us well and even made us a morning coffee.
Getting into the driveway it’s a tight corner downhill so may not be possible with big rigs, there is plenty of parking once inside. Pool was being cleaned when we arrived, worth a dip. Showers and toilets very clean, seating area and fast wifi.
Enjoy your stay!

This is still a really nice place to stay and the hosts are wonderful! We updated out website here and used the wifi for some skyping as well.
We got dinner here - it was very cheap and good. There is not a menu - just ask and you will not regret.

Nice spot to get a rest after crossing Honduras' border at Las Manos. We came in at night and it seamed nobody was here. Call the owners before and let them know you'll be checking in late. Nice area even if not so big. It would be difficult for big RV to get in even from the starting dirt road. Nice and friendly hostess Jiuver and Gloria (no English speaking). They have bathrooms, cold showers and a nice big pool. Walkable distance from town center which is nice and you get a real pick of normal little city life in Nicaragua. Nearby (5kms) there's a nice indigenous community called Mosonte ... We went by foot by you can also go via bus or taxi. Amazing view from the hilltop little Church.

Great hosts! They welcomed us and let us use the whole area. We payed 300 C. The swimmingpool is huge and water is cool! We could also use the restaurant area without eating from their kitchen. WIFI is fast and restrooms are clean.
