it's in a private area of a family. they are very Nice but yes you can not go on the beach with your véhicule, and stay at the end of the path... i m not sure this kind of place should be in ioverlander...
Report Check-InAmazing local’s sand beach with an amazing view of the Osorno Volcano. We found a way to leave our car parked on an alley just next to the beach. We asked a neighbor and they told us it was OK as long as we didn’t get into the beach with our car. Access through a street just west to the original GPS point. The original GPS point takes you to the beach too but the street is blocked about 100m before. Be polite and ask the neighbors for permission if you happen to see anyone.
Report Check-Inthe access to the beach is closed for cars. We parked at a parking near the beach and when we came back, a man asked to pay : 2000 per hour and 12000 the night!!!!
Report Check-InFantastic view, popular with locals during the day and a couple of tent campers staying with us for the night, very quiet. In the morning, I suggest you walk down the street direction Puerto Varas for 10min to get the fresh and warm pan amasado from the panaderia pionero (next to the supermarket where the street makes a left curve). Delicious!
Report Check-InVery nice beach. With beautiful views of the volcano. We didn’t stay here because it was raining but the place was great !
Report Check-InTried to go here but unfortunately did not work out. Multiple roads were either private property/unaccesible because of water. It seemed like they put a fence at the end of the road, but we did not want to Check it out because of the bad road condition.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot, quiet night. Amazing view of the volcano (when not cloudy), nice swim and cat-friendly:) as other overlanders said: let's keep it clean and enjoy!
Report Check-InFantastic Beachcamp!
The others on iOverlander were either closed or not really nice/ near the road.
We followed the signs to an established Camping called "al Lago" but isn't at the Lago. So we followed the road further and ended directly on the sand of the beach.
Very nice!!
At daytime there were some locals to enjoy a nice dip in the crystal clear water. At night we were alone.
Not sure whether it's allowed to camp there but no one came around.
For bigger rigs (bigger than Landrover or Sprinter) the road to the camp might be not wide enough.
Please please please keep that place clean!!
I think some of the others were closed because of toilet paper and garbage.
