Could be amazing and make a ton of money if it was managed properly. Maybe 10 years ago it was but today it’s a shell of the past. Rooms are a 2/5 with cool showers, lack of air conditioning (some work some don’t), a bit run down, the beds seem nice and it had clean sheets. The lodge it self is a bit dirty and run down again 2/5 the pool was nice and clean, breakfast was good but lunch/dinner is a crap shot as you have to search out a waiter and if they even have food.the staff are friendly but don’t talk to guests unless you find them so any sales of beer or pop is a chore. They could make so much more money if they had western service. We asked a family that comes every once in a while and the said they bring everything as our experience is the norm. Now the biggest failing, the board walk which connects everything, it’s another disaster in the waiting. Parts have already collapsed and the rest is soon to follow. When it goes the resort is doomed unless they act now! It needed to be replaced at least 5 years ago! So as a location it’s 5/5 as a resort it’s maybe a 2/5. We would skip it in the future as the cost just doesn’t match the accomodations. But someone should buy it, revamp it and market, it would be great!
Report Check-InMust have been a beautiful place once. Still an amazing location with a stunning river view but due to a lack of maintenance this place isn't what it used to be. If you go for the scenery it's a must see spot however. Houses are all on poles between the trees. Pool has a great view for spotting river animals like the pink dolphin. We paid 250br for one night including breakfast.
Report Check-InNature pure. Many monkeys and birds around. Big fish too and giant sea otters. It’s 20 km from town by dirt road. Paid 200 instead 250 brl for a couple after asking discount for travellers. Friendly staff.
Report Check-InBeautiful lodge at the confluence of the Pakaas and Marmoré Rivers. It's a bit of a splurge to stay here. R$250 for a couple for a beautiful room and a huge breakfast. The entire place is built up on stilts and cabanas are access by walkways. Pool overlooks the rivers. It's about 10km from the town of Guajira-Mirim.
