This bomberos station is **NOT** taking any travelers due to COVID. They kindly turned us away and asked us to update/let other travelers know about this site being **CLOSED** to travelers. They were kind but very firm, the order to not host travelers here is pretty strict and there was no way to convince them.

They suggested to go to the police/main square. We suggest to keep going to Jicaro Galán. The bomberos is a bit of a detour from the main road anyways. Good luck!

Esta estación de bomberos **NO** está acogiendo a ningún tipo de viajerxs debido a la pandemia de COVID-19. Cuando llegamos muy amablemente nos dijeron que no nos iban a poder acoger y nos pidieron que actualizáramos/dejáramos a otrxs viajerxs saber que está estación **ESTA CERRADA** y no acogen a viajerxs. Parece que es una orden muy estricta y no hubo chance de convencerlos.

Sigirieron la policía o el parque central. Sugerimos seguir pedaleando hasta Jicaro Galan donde quizás hay más apoyo. Esta estación es un poco de desvío desde la carretera principal, entonces mejor seguir o ir directo al parque central a ver si algo sale ahí. Buena suerte!

Perfect place for travelers, you can put your tend or sleep in your car. Is free, have WiFi, toilet, shower, and the fire man are very friendly, the weekend you can play soccer with theirs jajaja :)

fue una linda experiencia, los bomberos muy amables, el lugar genial, amplio, silencioso bajo un árbol. tienen agua, duchas y ahora internet libre. si pasan por aquí no duden en visitarlos!!

As described. pitch my tent under a roofed building because rain season has began. there was a problem with the water pump so only bucket shower. Did not get wifi.

spent a night on the side of their soccer field with our van.
very nice guys who let us charge some stuff.
we could also use the showers and toilets
totally free

Perfect for cycle tourers. Lots of space to pitch tents. Quiet. No kitchen facilities but toilet and shower. Very friendly fire fighters. No wifi but electricity sockets.
