Lodge & (Camping. Camping very basic CLOSED) . No power at each campsite. Cold and hot shower. Nice rustical restaurant. Oranjemund beach is accessible without permit.

Report Check-In2022/04/01 - The campsite is closed but accommodation still available in units. They are building additional accommodation for mining subcontract workers on the campsite. We stayed in their accommodation which is not not to bad. The restaurant linked to the accommodation has awesome food. The fillet was the best I had had in Namibia. Tips there is a turn off before Oranjemund to the left if you want to see the river mouth.

We paid R100 pppn as they are running a special pro at the moment. We stayed 2 night. The WiFi was usable at the campsite. Was a bit protected from the wind. Toilet and shower was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Private ablutions. 2 campsites.
Bar on site. Dinner and breakfast available. Didn’t eat there. Wifi reached campsite.
Things changed. Power supply on the sites next to the ablutions.
kitchen is still phantastische at reasonable prices.
in Oranjemund it's the one and only
Lodge & Camping. Camping very basic. No power supply. Cold and hot shower. Nice rustical restaurant. Ryan and Fanie Smit organise everything with the permit for Oranjemund. You just have to send him an email an within one week you get the permit. They supply it at the Security Office at the entrance of the Sperrzone. Then the whole procedure keeps you 10 minutes waiting. that's it!
