Take the ferry from Camocin and follow the trails (or follow a local car/buggy) to Praia Selvajem. This is a couple kms from Lagoa da Torta where many tourists are taken for lunch (good fish restaurant, by the way). Praia Selvajem is a great kitesurfers beach, with a shop run by Kite World Wide to rent gear or take lessons. Good place for rough camping. For an excellent dinner, or a splendid breakfast with home-made whole-grain bread, check out the Pousada Portal do Vento on top of the hill (make a reservation; owners are Sandra and Marcel).
