Fair View. Camped along the river. Beautiful spot. Make sure to ask permission from the *tuschau* (captain) before visiting or staying in the village. At the time of writing this was Mr. Peters. Otherwise you can ask at the customs next to the ferry crossing if they can fetch the *tuschau* for you.

nice little village we camped at the barge landing.unfortunately the butterfly farm is closed due to lack of funding. but when river is low petroglyphs are to be seen but for us no luck as rivers have not been as high since 2010. Many locals work at the Iwokrama research centre. i have updated facilities based on our barge landing camp site. locals recommended campsite at Research centre just 2km up the road.
