Description

Paid $29 (more in 2023, $40) for a campsite with full hookup (no tent sites available). Absolutely beautiful beach nearby, nice private sites, firewood for sale. Very happy with our stay.

(ps - lots of pull outs on side of road just north along 101 within 10 miles leading into Brookings)

Latest Check-Ins

The highway noise isn’t great for the tent sites. But the day use picnic area is wonderful. We brought out cooking gear down there and had dinner while watching the sunset. Infinitely better than doing that at the camp site.

Super clean bathrooms. Hot showers. Mosquitos live in the warmth of the bathroom and showers though; there is heating as of winter 2023. Beautiful view to the water. Free electricity and potable water spigot at site. This site almost felt like a gated community it was that nice. Firewood for cheap as well.

Great park for a paid site. A fair bit of highway and construction noise, but otherwise, clean bathrooms and showers, great cell service, and access to some solid trails. Some sites are more private while others are very open so be mindful when booking.

Great location with trails. Was $38 for electric and water though (cheaper if from Oregon), sewer is more. C loop is first come first serve. All local area pullouts are clearly marked no parking and likely enforced since none there

Great spot on the coast. Beautiful beach just a short walk. The fee is $38 for non resident. Washroom’s and showers are clean and modern. This is our second stay her, we’d highly recommend it.

I would recommend to anyone. Beautiful beach, easy to walk to.

strong Verizon reception, busy campground with spots close together. we can hear the 101 from our spot, even over campers' neglected children. $20 for the night. 5/10

Lovely place. Stayed here on a Tuesday in January. The RV reservation campgrounds were surprisingly full, but plenty of sites in Loop C to choose from when I arrived (this is first-come first-serve in the winter and where the tent sites are).
FYI tent sites are $24 for out-of-state visitors, instead of the usual $20.
Bathrooms were quiet and clean.
Spaces were nicely spread out with picnic tables, lots of big trees, and some bushes to shield you from other campers. Loops A&B have views of the ocean. Loop C is more protected from the wind, but also closer to the highway, so a little bit of road noise but didn’t keep me up at night.
Hiking trails go down to the beach.
The showers were amazing! Only for overnight campers, but open during COVID. Clean, spacious, and private. Lots of hot water. In the women’s shower, each shower has a door that locks, a bench to put your things on, towel hooks, and a half-wall between this getting ready area and the shower area so your things don’t get wet. So many public showers don’t have those nice details!
Ranger was friendly and nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Site with electric and water $33? for residents, $41 out of state (may be only during covid). Tent sites $24 for nonresidents. Nice sites, some overlooking beach, others in trees. Stunning beach is easy to access.

Tried to stop here and use the showers but they are closed due to COVID.

Stayed here two nights, beautiful campsites, due to time of year a large section is first come first serve and other areas reservable. Showers are clean & HOT, firewood for $5, dump site and right at the beach. I don’t often pay for camping but I would recommend this campground.

During an April weekend it filled up almost completely.
T-mobile 4g is pretty slow here.
