Wonderful place right next to the river. When we came, there were already two vehicles there. We placed ourselves among the trees as it was windy and rainy. They provided good protection and privacy.

Report Check-In

lovely spot, there's a shared area with trees where we set up our tent. good windbreak but lots of mosquitos!!

My favorite wild camp of cycling Chilean Patagonia. Well worth the extra km past checking out the glaciar hikes and official campground. Totally hidden from the road. I had the spot to myself until 9pm when a couple with a car tent showed up but they camped in a spot closer to the road. Bathe in the river. If you have clear weather you will have beautiful views. Several spots on the river and closer to the road that were suitable for tents.

Report Check-In

Very quiet spot, only ones here and feels very remote. Limited unrocky spots for tents - first area to left as you enter is sheltered and flat. On a clear river and nice views. 2wd OK. Road in a bit rough in places but OK - first 7 km newly graded as of yesterday!

We spend one night there, beautiful place and very quiet. There was an other camper. Lots of wind and fog so the view was not as beautiful as it may be.

Tres bel endroit pour dormir au bord du rio. Tres calme possibilite de faire un feu Aucun service pas de reseau.

Nice Place - still perfekt ! Some firepits - fits big rigs….

Just perfect, super quiet and nice views.
We drove with our old RWD van here, no problem at all.

Beautiful spot to camp with magnificent glaciers views ! Tks to the App and all of you ! After the 3/4 hours Conaf hike yesterday to the lower overview platform, we enjoyed that spot. Here they were, all the glaciers and mount St Valentine ( San Clemente) the highest in whole Patagonia. Care with fireplaces at the camp ( well maintained anyway). The fire is the enemy! The road is a real nightmare for campers who care for their house on wheels. I already complained. That road was opened less than 20 years ago .. and never finished. The road entrance in puerto tranquilo bears a beautiful sign saying so : En construcción! (Building). Calaminas for kms and grouped holes are the main problem: locals don’t care! Chilean tour operators - making lots of money using that road ( to laguna San Rafael + glacier hikes at Conaf - tour booking required ahead ) just the same ! This land is called Chile : “Derechos sin Deberes”! It fits perfectly! Too sad. Beautiful Patagonia !

We spent a night there. Juste perfect place to sleep. With a nice view and a river

Phenomenal drive out here. Great spot. Very quiet. Nice view of a glacier in the distance. Lots of wind in the evening, but still doable in RTT. A couple fire pits. No problems with horse flies this time of year, but definitely some mosquitos.

Report Check-In

nice spot indeed, ice cold water, hidden from the road, but very windy right now

Report Check-In

Really nice and peaceful place. We parked in a little space between some trees to avoid the wind but there is a lot of space along the river. Very nice place for stargazing.

We spent a night here, for the next day to walk to the glacier. Nice place, very special with beautiful view😍

Actually did sleep here in the end, it was very nice!

Did not sleep here (slept at tadpole earlier) but this looks more beautiful!

Report Check-In

This place was lovely - private and picturesque. Easy to find from the road and safe for two-wheel drive. Our favorite campsite yet!

Report Check-In

Still a great place! Large, quiet, clean, next to the river, amazing views, a few spots with wind protection,... We loved it!

Report Check-In

Perfect place. Large and flat. Crystal clear water. Not windy during the night we were there, but you can find some cover. No signal. There are few more places like this on the way to Bahia Exploradores. But if you are looking for place in Valle Exploradores this is the best place!

Report Check-In

Respect and love for this place. Such good memories :)

Report Check-In

Very good place for the night with a big motor home.

Report Check-In

Very beautiful spot indeed! There is a view of the glacier but not in the valley, up on the mountain. The horse flies are terrible though!

Report Check-In

We checked a lot of the iOverlander spots in the valley and found this was one of the best: panorama, wind protection, remote. The weather changed a lot from Rio Tranquilo/sunny to Bahía Exploradores/rain. This point was on the sunny side!

Report Check-In

Ideal spot to enjoy landscape, glaciers ans waterfalls. Very peacefull.
