Free camping in the middle of the Sand Wash Wild Horse area. No facilities, BLM land. This spot is next to a small natural pond where lots of wild horses and other animals like pronghorn come to drink.
There are tons of places you can camp just off the roads throughout the basin. Beautiful place 360 views.Report Check-In
We slept about 20km back on County road 10 turn off, still BLM land. In the morning we drove here to see some wild horses. We saw about 20 along the road heading to the watering hole. Beautiful!Report Check-In
It's a nice place. But if you park at the small lake, animal might be afraid to drink. It is also written: do not camp within 1/4 mile of water sources.Report Check-In
