Free wild camping in Flaming Gorge. Great mountain scenery.
Quiet flat area among scattered pine trees. Free, dispersed camping in Flaming Gorge National Forest.
Report Check-InNice and quite place. But there are so many free places in this forest, I would drive around to find your own place.
Also a lot of primitiv camping for 10 or 15$ in the area.
My family of 6 stayed in our Kodiak Canvas tent on the Wyoming side of Flaming Gorge. We went in off of Anvil Draw road. Terrain is rough getting down near the lake, but some are able to tow their campers. primitive camping, with no restrooms.
