This place is a nursery for plants of the national parc... we haven't seen anybody during our three nights there to tell us that was forbidden. And the workers in the morning are friendly. It is next to the park's fences and we saw a lion walking along, almost scary ! Quiet and free, good option for these looking for a free place to stay or if there is no availability in the camping.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.

Stayed here one night. No problems. Three trains during night.
Report Check-InNot the quietest but good for a night. Train human and traffic noises. Decent cell signal. We went further in and with high clearance you can park on any of the side clearings
Report Check-InNot the prettiest place, but quiet and almost levelled. Neighbors are friendly and don't bother at all. Slept two nights here. 4G Cell C reception.
Report Check-InWe arrived about 7pm and had a quiet night. Ranger came around 8am next morning and told us we were not allowed to camp there. He was firm but nice.
Report Check-InYou gotta love you other Overlander's for staying just infront of the fence and sharing the spot! 😊
We also drove 400 m further and hide in the bushes. Unfortunately no lion passed by, but we heard other game and animals in the dark.
Thanks for sharing, so we didn't need to stay at the expensive campground in the park.
We staid close of this point but a little bit further because we were more secluded and hidden. Quiet place to visit the park next day.
Report Check-Instill good.
we drove beyond the nursery along the addo fenceline for about 400 metres and large flat area of scrub to park.
good spot just a few minutes from main addo gate.
a little Road noise but not enough to worry you.
completely out of sight of road.
good spot.
