Basic camping spot just outside Keetmanshoop. Noisy - trucks arrive and depart with hooters through the night. Lots of mosquitos. Amblutions run down. Nice swimmingpool and bar. Reception lady unfriendly and did not make us feel welcome at all.

Report Check-In

A polite place with a bar and pool. Quite relaxing to say the least and a place for the weary driver

Report Check-In

Clean abolution, water and electricity at sites. Also chairs and table for using.
I felt not very welcomed as I arrived there... And for 250 NAD for camping totally overpriced.

Good place to stop over near Keetmanshoop. A few pitches have good shade, there’s a nice pool, clean ablutions, water is drinkable.

No Problems. Of course if you decide to Camp near the Highway you here some Cars. But in Night it is absolute calm. The Wc and the shower were absulut clean. Nice hot water was Running.

Report Check-In

Ablution neat with hot water. Truck bit noisy until 2200. Reataurant good value for money

Report Check-In

Left Trupen as the Sites have absolutely no shade and are extremely close to B1. At Maritz a lot of people are cleaning and cutting gras. Can not confirm what I was reading. For me everything is ok.

How the experiences differ. This place was a disgrace. We checked in for two nights and made the mistake not to check the facilities before. When we took a look at the facilities at about 5 PM the toilets were utterly disgusting. If someone has diarrhea it is terrible for the person, but for the next person on this toilet it is just disgusting. We could see in the guestformbook that the past guests left the day before we arrived. Even after we ask them to clean the facilities (the showers were in a bad shape as well), they just quickcleaned one toilet.
However the pool was in a really nice setting but dirty as well, the trashcans were full and we didn't stayed for the second night.
Without any doubt, the worst places we stayed for the last six weeks in Namibia.
150 NAD per Campsite + 100 NAD p.P.

Campsite & chalets just behind the petrol garage.
N $250 for the site + N $100 pp.
Ok for an overnight stop.
300mb free WiFi
Shared ablutions basic but ok. Hot water available. Shower roses need replacing as water squirts in all directions.
Swimming pool very nice.
We didn't use the restaurant or bar.

Nice looking place but very, very expensive, especially for a family. Trupen Gardens down the road is a better value option.

Report Check-In

This was a good overnight stop with a pool and free WiFi. Nothing special, but exactly what we needed in between destinations.

Report Check-In

Nice Campsite with pool. wifi connection could be faster.

Report Check-In

Very neat stands with grass, trees worth paying more.

It is a great camp site, not too bad but a bit confusing in choosing where to camp. Not numbered and well set up! But thankfully not very busy today so we were able choose a spot that suited our needs with a wash up basin with water! Not all campsites have that facility. Perhaps they are busy upgrading so all can have the facility as we chose? It is so far the most expensive place that we have camped at so far, charging not only per person but also for the campsite, N$150 per person +N$250 per campsite! There is a Wimpy nearby which is convenient to walk to if you don’t want to cook or braai and they have a restaurant here as well. A swimming pool too. I do hope that there will be hot water in the showers!

So ridiculously overpriced. N$320 for one person on a bicycle makes it the most expensive camp in Namibia. It is noisy at night that you cannot sleep.

Now 440 ND for 2 people & a vehicle. Would not budge on price so didn't stay
