Description

This is a campement for tourists with available bungalows and it is near the ferry. We were allowed to stay here with our 4x4 and could use the toilet and douche in a room for 5000CFA. If you eat here, you will pay only 2000CFA and dinner is only 3000 or 4000CFA. The owner, Famara, is nice and speaks several languages! Nice and clean really worth it!!

nice place, 7000 CFA per night, you will get a Hut key for the bathroom. It's clean.

Very pleasant place that welcomes overlanders, however the restaurant is not always open. When seated at the streetside terrace, expect to get a few people at your table who want to be your friends, in other words, want to sell you something. Be aware of Solomon "Christian Dior" who promises to make you top quality clothes (shows his own as an example, but he did not make that) He then wants European prices, paid up front, and returns with badly finished products.

Mainly renting huts, but there is place for a tent as well. 5000 for camping (1p + Motorbike), 5000 for (really good) dinner and 2000 for breakfast

Mainly a chalet site but has a spot or two for 4x4's. We pitched up opposite the main entrance. Camping is 5,000 CFA for a night, with food available at 5,000 CFA each. Beers are available from the bar, and the seating area has a nice view of the water. Seems the site is a local hotspot for villagers to meet and chat, quite nice. The main chap is very friendly and speaks very good English. He cooked us a lovely fish, chips, and salad dish, with mango for desert. Certainly a good stop over for the night.

Friendly staff, camped under the baobab tree at the entrance. Right next to the boat and convenient, but a bit expensive. Was asked for 12,000 CFA but paid 5000 CFA, one person and one motorbike for one night. Breakfast is an optional extra and there is WiFi, 5 minutes walk from shops and restaurants.
