Nice looking campground within walking distance (1km) of bike rental places. Looks like the ideal base for exploring the different wineries. We did unfortunately not spend the night here as we were already parked at Mr. Hugo bikes and driving anywhere was not an option after all the tastings;) Camping at mr Hugo is for free however in a mechanics yard on an list street, not a lot of sleeping...
100 peso's per persoon and no charge for car/tent. Includes swimming pool and hot showers, electricity at sites.
The place is not very well marked (big blue gate. caretaker will be around somewhere). Just turn into Monteagudo from Urquiza, and you'll find the place in the left where the road narrows.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.

Closed again. Might have been because I was Sunday and the place was insanely crowded with locals. The owner did react kind of rude, almost as if she took offense of us even suggesting it was a camp ground. Pretty bizar..
Report Check-InWe stopped by and asked. The kid said they were open but after going inside his house he came back and said they were closed. Not sure if it's seasonal or permanent.
Report Check-InThis is NOT a "dodgy" area, but residential with fancy houses and sweet old people.
Campsite as described. Still 100pp. Electricity, hot shower, fireplaces, no WiFi. Lots of dogs which love the attention by campers but bark a lot at night. A slighty crazy horse also roams the property. We stayed for 3 nights and would recommend that campsite for exploring Maipu and the Bodegas
The area is fine, to us it didn't appear dodgy at all. The campsite is like every other typical Argentinian campsite; spacious, grills, power outlets, water, dogs, somewhat dirty bathroom and nice owner. Perfectly located for exploring town and wineries, walking distance to bike rental. 100 pesos pppn
Report Check-InCamping looked dark and was in a dodgy area, did not stay but went to Antigua Residence instead.
