Only open on weekends and you need to reserve your tour ahead of time. However for 20$ per person I would not recommend this tour. You get absolutely no explanation on the rum creation process. The entire tour is dedicated to the glory of the Flor de Cana company (history, owners). Certainly would not recommend, especially with kids.

Had a nice tour in English. Rum tasting is the main focus of the tour. Tour is now $12.

it appears as if you have to reserve in advance online ( https://www.tourflordecana.com/ ) and they do fill up. They were booked out two weeks in advance when I checked, and as an overlander, I rarely plan that far in advance!

Tours are only on the weekend now (Saturdays and Sundays) at 9am, 11am, and 2pm

El tour es muy interesante, el guia muy simpatico e instruido, el de 10usd actualmente se hace de jueves a domingo, sino hay un tour especial de 100Usd donde puedes catar todas variedades incluyendo la reserva familiar de 30años y al final te llevas una botella de 18 años.

Arrived at 8:45am on Tuesday morning and was told that tours are only now Thursday thru Sunday, 9am, 11am, 3pm.

As mentioned tours are at daily at 9:00 am, 11:00 am, 15:00 pm except Monday. But you dont need to be 50 people to do it. As long as you are there at the 30 min before the tour you can do it. We did the VIP tour, just for us 2. It was great fun with Ronaldo as a tour guide, and among all the rums we tried we also could try a 31 years aged rum...it was amazing. We love rum by the way.

Schedules:
daily at 9:00 am, 11:00 am, 15:00 pm except Monday
BUT we were told at the gate the tour is only with a minimum of 50 people. Tuesday and Thursday afternoon are the best chances because then are the tours from the hostels in the cities.

Very nice tour with interesting details and tasting.
Vladimir speaks fluent English as well a little German.
