Spent 4 nights here without issue. On the National Holiday, it was packed with locals and lound music, and the cops drove through a few times just to look. Other nights were quiet, just a light beat from a nearby bar. Perfect spot for surf. The fresh water shower right on the beach was nice, and you can get wifi from a few different spots. The Selina nearby is great if you need strong wifi at their restaurant, the food is tasty and fair prices for the area. Our friends in a B+ RV were here with us and we set up camp, no issues. Loved it!

Nice public parking lot right on the beach. Unless you get water and WiFi from somewhere, there’s no facilities at all.
Nice quiet place, unless there’s any party at any of the hostels around. There’s a market 10km towards Cañas, at an intersection. Good prices.

O lugar é perfeito, frente ao mar. Muito tranquilo, seguro e lindo. Ótimo para quem gosta de surfar.

Só tem um mercadinho pequeno que é bem caro, leve comida de Pedasí.

As pessoas são super boas, acabamos abrindo a Kombi e vendendo nossos produtos.

Caminhando pela praia tem o hostel Selina, usamos as duchas externas deles de graça.

Recomendamos.

Excelente lugar, frente al mar, con WiFi, acceso a agua y seguro! Aquí estas justo frente al break point de surf!

Lugar super tranquilo, con sombra y a orillas de la playa. Ideal para el surf, pasamos varias noches. Lleven repelente de insectos, esta lleno de chitras, un bichito muy pequeño pero muy molesto. En la ciudad es todo carisimo, conviene llevar víveres!!

Stayed here four nights. Wide open parking lot with 3 big palms providing some shade. Nice beach break right out front. Weekdays peaceful and quiet. Mini ramp for your skating pleasure. Restaurants are pricey around here. Stocked up in pedasi and cooked all meals. Mini mart prices here are 2-3 times the amount of pedasi. No one seemed to mind us being here. Had a few beers to get wifi password:

at the restaurant. We love this place.

signs for no camping near the resturant. i bought a beer and asked if they minded. no issue.

Place direct at the beach. Quite a lot of trash was around. Nice beach. We did not use any facilities from the hotel. Just early in the morning we took a shower by the restaurant. Nobody was working at this time, so we had no problem.

Free wifi from Hotel & Resort Playa Venao, where you can ask to the employees of the garden for some water.
We found a plug there to get some electricity and charge the computer. Probably the hotel would not be happy about this...
Many mosquitoes when the sun goes down.
We recomend to visit for the day "La Playita" a very near beach really quiet with no waves.

Public access grass and sand lot right on the ocean. Quiet surfing beach with a few restaurants around. Could probably get wifi from one of them with the extender but we didn't try.
