we walked into a small 300 m long side canyon where we saw some condors sitting on the rocks and flying (circle) above us. Gorgeous ! 😀
I think its also not a bad possibility to stay here at the entrance overnight.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
apart from the main viewpoints near the dam this is the most impressive part of the Canyon for me!
You are surrounded by very high rocks in a narrow Canyon.
Short walk, doable for everyone, just watch your feet while walking on the rocks. ;-)
Decommissioned road leading to an old mine shaft. Road no longer passable due to rock slide but it’s a nice 15 minute walk in the canyon.
Report Check-Ingreat little walk, a bit of shadow so it's a nice stop ! nobody when we came at 11am, I'd camp here but it's still early... :)
