Campers are supposed to use the bathrooms at the pool but first of all everything was super dirty and the - only - toilet didn't flush (they say it flushes but in fact if its more than #1, that wont flush anything). So they gave us a key for a chalet after complaining. Hot water and working toilet overthere in a cute room.

It's 500 pp to use the pool how looked very nasty when we were there (more a radioactive green soup than a proper pool).
On sunday, the pool area got took over by local families (about 20 people) from the town nearby (they allow non residents to use the pool) and it was very very noisy (screaming children and music) until it got dark. As the only flat areas to camp are next to the pool, it was not great for us but we moved 200 m up the hill next to trees, managed to level the car by digging and it was fine. We also stayed on monday and it was so quiet and relaxful, with nobody showing up.
Zebras, vervet monkeys, warthogs and elands around.
Lot of wood available to make fire if you have a stroll around the forest up hill.
Wifi was working but very very slow (the entire staff was using it to watch YouTube).
Friendly staff but not very professional (shocking).

Still 1000 pp and still a nice place to have a rest before or after Lake Turkana. Our 2 nights there were so peaceful we had the feeling we were wildcamping.

Nice levelled grass grass camping area, kitchen with electricity, swimming pool and hot showers (though sometimes it doesnt work). Great stop over to unwind

Excellent stopover especially if you need a hot shower after days of cold bucket showers which was our case. 😅 Very peaceful at night even though it's not far from city. Free wifi at reception, swimming pool, hot electric showers, great Safaricom and Airtel coverage. Warthogs, elands and impalas around camping area. Price still 1000 KES ppn.

Camped for 2 nights. Wifi was great when it was working, I was able to have a video Interview with no issues. Firewood is 500 but there's plenty of wood near the kitchen you can help yourself to.

We stayed in a chalet due to a var breakdown for couple of days. We were the only guests around. Staf is friendly and helpful. Restaurant basic but OK. Chalet had good bed with mosquito protection. Warm shower and good water pressure. Fast internet with wifi in the chalet. Swimmingpool and animals around the chalet and campsite makes it complete.

Lovely green oasis in a dusty town. Swimming pool, showers and toilets plus bar and restaurant in Lodge. Recommended. Zebra and warthog in front of Lodge.

Good place for camping. There are some leveled spaces for vehicles! There is electricity in the "kitchen" and water with little pressure. Zebras and other game graze on the property.

This place is open again and under new management now. There’s a big grassy area on which you can camp. Price is 1000kes p.p.p.n. We found it too much and stayed in the city.

For a game-walk in the reserve you apparentlt need to hire a guide/ranger for 1000 kes. We did see a dozen zebras, a wharthog and an antilope while driving towards the reception. So a guide is not really needed ;).

Report Check-In

Open, grassy place at the lodge at the pool.
Zebras and several antelopes in the park and at the camp.
The lodge was not operating when we were there, we arranged the price of 5$ p.p.p.n. with the rangers and they opened a bungalow for us.
