Description
The price is still the same. 25 soles pp/pn. However, the location is excellent and quiet. Bus just outside gate will take you to Chan Chan and Trujillo. Wifi is spotty and can be poor. Pool was empty when we arrived and then was filled. Toilets beside pool. Toilet and shower in a room which was unlocked for the duration. Friendly staff.

They are not accepting people to sleep in their vans, but you can sleep at the hotel and leave the van on their parking lot
Report Check-InThey are not an RV park anymore, but you can still sleep in the hotel and leave your car at the parking lot. They charged us usd20 per day for a room with TV and hot shower. It was nice that the van was close to the room, so we could cook and clean it.
Report Check-Ince n'est plus un RVpark. Le terrain a été divisé en 3 entre frères et sœurs et, nous étions dans une allée étroite devant leur logement. Pas top. Les banos étaient fermés la nuit. 50 soles pour 2 et un van.

Lugar para parquear se encuentra en construcción y tocó parquear al ingreso, llegamos en la noche y no fue muy agradable nuestra estadía por 50 soles ya que nos parece un precio muy alto por lo que decidimos salir a otro lugar en la mañana siguiente.
Report Check-InUnder construction! They built a second pool and are building a wall between the pools that will cut the parking area to almost nothing. The family welcomed us for one night as we arrived at sunset. We parked in the middle of their work area overnight and left in the morning. No longer seems the great vehicle overlander spot it once was.

Report Check-InSpent three nights here (50 soles p/night two persons). great wifi and clean facilities. Didn't try the pool cause it was freezing. Family is very friendly, and not much other guests around in low season.

Report Check-InGood place, hidden from wind and quiet. Space for 2-3 RVs. 50 Sol for 2 people in a car. Pool without water. WiFi works very good but not in camping area. But to expensive for what you get, showers not hot enough.

Report Check-InOk. Nice location from beach, but not sure if it justifies price. Price is S50 for vehicle with 2 people, or S40 with one person. So far never paid more than S25.

A nice place, we stayed on our VW as Amelia was closed. The price is now 25 PP. We find it too expensive for what it is.
Report Check-InQuiet refuge. 20s/pp. No height restriction on gate. Opened a room to use hot shower. Can run 220 electrical cords. 1 block to beachfront and numerous restaurants.
4 soles per laundry weight.
Turned us away at 6pm, didn't say why except "Manana". We went to Naylamp Hostel instead parked our rig in lane way at rear but took a room for the showers. Meal of Pizza and Carbonara was pretty good.

Report Check-InBest option in town and the owners were super friendly and accommodating. Low season so nobody else was there. They charged us S20/pp and opened a room so we could shower. Wifi super fast around reception area.
Report Check-InBack again! Other place nearby was full. This time we were allowed to stay 3 nights inc Fri although they were busy and had 2 vans already (1 long-term as owner had flown home) & we arrived at 4. Must just depend what else is happening there. Don't recommend the laundry. 7 soles per kilo, felt very hard and some was still wet or v smelly a day later.
Report Check-In50s for van & 2 people. CAN ONLY STAY 1 NIGHT NOW & ARRIVE AFTER 6pm, leave by 10 am as when restaurant is open (11 am-5 pm) they don't have enough room for campers. Entrance is via swimming pool/hostel entrance nextdoor as RV park access v low (suitable for Landover/small minibus). On way in trees start brushing roof at 3m. Very small and "R V" park mostly used as restaurant.
Report Check-InArrived here in late afternoon. After asking if there is place we got the unfriendly answer 'no'. But campground was empty. After explainig that we would only stay one night they let us in. But we had to pay for a room! Next day the gardener explained that they normally don't let overlander stay in the season when the restaurant is open... so be careful and better give them first a phone call. Suitable for RV's up to 3.40 high... then there are the branches of the trees.
Report Check-InOK place but not great. We went there mainly for wifi but it was rubbish (very weak). Showers only just luke warm. Nice (small) pool area, esp if you have kids, but for us it wasn't worth the non-negotiable S50.

Lovely grassy garden behind hotel for campers. Wifi fast in reception and just reached garden. Laundry cost 6 soles per kg but was a little damp on return.
Report Check-InNo, we want to Stay there, but we got an unfriendly Message, the Camp is Full. We take a Look on this Place and See there was a lot of Space for more than 4 Cars. We Decided to Stay on the Beach nearby. Perfect Place, Calm By Night and No fee.
Report Check-InStill 40, but if that is too much you can stay on the beach for free. Very secure, protected from wind and even some grass. Power, lights, tables and chairs and the internet is very fast (when it works - we staid 3 days and had no internet for half a day). You can also sit in their restaurant and take your own beer. Downside is toilets are dirty (open to elements) and the big pool is empty (there is a little one by the restaurant).

We were there during the week and no pool parties.Hot and clean showers in Room 8 and toilets OK near pool Paid 20 soles per person per night. Village quiet when we were there. Wifi pretty good in camping area but better in lobby. Nice place to relax and catch up.3 big and I camper van there when we arrived and with our camper no more room as large bus parked ? Permanently.
Report Check-Inwe stayed 4 nights. the place is o.k. but there is only space for max. 4 RV's. we asked for hot shower and they opend a room for us. the pool is smal but was clean. we paid 40 soles per night. free wifi @ worked well near the office.
Report Check-InThis place is just ok, really not more...they charged consequentli 40s for 2 persons/night and the vehicle...but that's just to much for the simple service...the owners accept campers, but didn't like them very much...stayed with 2 others...same experience as we have...the only really positive experience from this place...it was possible to stay with our dog there!

Report Check-InGood safe spot in a typical tourist beach town. More expensive here than other spots in Peru as there are many tourists with money as well as wealthy locals. Paid $28 US for 2 rooms with 3 people with every secure Moto parking. They will not let you use their kitchen and are a bit quirky but I'd recommend the place. 1 block from the beach.

Report Check-InGrassy lot next to a pool. They kicked us out on Saturday morning because they are hosting parties during the day, but let us come back in the evening for camping. Toilets weren't very attended and room 11 with the shower was under construction and dirty. Wifi was good in the courtyard. Too expensive, but a relaxing break. Locals come to use the pool on weekends so it's a bit busier then.
Report Check-InThey turned me down twice. The first time because they were having a private party, then because I had a Dog. I didn't get a good "vibe" from this place. Just as well park at the beach for .80 soles per night. Guards 24/7
Report Check-InWe arrived on a Sunday when the pool/camping area (and the entire town) was crowded with visitors from Trujillo. Instead of camping in our rooftop tent, we opted for a room. It cost 90 soles. The room was a bit rundown, but it was clean and water was hot. Wifi signal was fast near reception. They were not offering laundry service, so we found a Lavanderia on Calle Libertad that charges 12.50 soles per wash/dry load. Otra Cosa, right around the corner on the beach, has excellent, clean food for breakfast. And there is great wood-fired pizza in the evenings a block away in the other direction.

Report Check-InStayed here for 3 nights with Lost in the Americas. Charged us 20 Soles per adult and 10 Soles for our 6 year old son. Our stay coincided with a busy holiday weekend. Parking area is floodlit until late at night. Parties at the pool went on all night long on our last night. Toilets (with a seat and paper) along with sinks (with soap) were available around the clock. Showers were available in unoccupied rooms. Full-serve laundry was also available with a 24-hour turnaround time at 6 Soles / kg. Popular place. We liked it here with the exception of the involuntary loss of sleep on our final night here.

Report Check-InVery well maintained grassy camping area behind the hostel. With pool, clean toilets and hot shower in one of rooms. Approximately 200 meters to the beach and the long promenade. Slow Free WIFI. Unfortunately, the manager didn't want to negotiate the price at all.:-)
Huanchaco is a nice little touristy village right at the beach inviting you for strolls. Very close to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Chan Chan (S 79.07504 8.10873 W).
