Go off Ruta 5 at the exit, drive down hill, turn left until you reach end of village. There's a large open space to camp wild, right behind the dunes of the beach (4wd vehicles might even go onto the beach, but careful: sand is soft in places!). Wild camping, no facilities! It's ~1.5-2km walk into village to get bread and basic supplies. Over night you can hear a little bit of the highway (more truck traffic o/n than day time), but not bad. No shade, but nice ocean breeze.

I don't know if there's a real difference between the two places in iOverlander, but: there were guys at the parking in front of the gate with municipality clothes telling us that we couldn't spend the night anywhere there. Whole place doesn't seem very pleased to see tourists, grim faces. We left.
Report Check-InVery nice spot in front of the beach ! We could not hear highway at all, only waves ! A smart guy came to offer a hot shower for free ! Some local campers but enough place for everybody !!
Report Check-InThe2Dutch. Good place to camp. We were here on Sunday, wheather Cloudy and 15 degrees, in case weather is better, there are more people for picknic.
Report Check-InNice place on the gorgeous beach, tranquil sunsets, no bad odor or rubbish. Theres houses further back but we werent bothered by anyone, just occasional horses. No amenties but free. 20 min walk to beach summer town. Cold at night and theres little hills for wind shelter. Can camp anywhere.
Report Check-InFull of garbage and bad odor. There is a forbidden camping sign ;(
Report Check-InThis is a pretty awesome pirate camp spot. We aired down and opted to drive up on the beach but there are other spots right behind the dunes that any 2wd car can get to. No amenities but the price is free. Quiet at night, could barely hear highway noise above the sound of the surf.
