A beautiful camping spot on the river. Not many facilities, but there are tables and covered shelters and fire pits.

Gate was closed but I found the owners at “Rio Lenca Hospedaje & Supermercado” also on IOverlander. They drove there with me and opened the gate for me. 15000 for 1 person and car
Report Check-In17th of March - unfortunately closed at the moment. It still seemed very well kept with nice campspots on the river.
Report Check-InNice, quiet, big place on the River Chaica (not Rio Lenca as mentioned in the Maps) We stayed 2 nights, payed 8000/ night, 2pax, 1 Camper. We made the tour up to the Laguna Triángulo. Heavy hike, but worth the pain. 7 1/2 hrs total. Do not waste the time for the Alerce, the rest pays.
Report Check-InSpent our NYE here with a family on another nearby spot. No one ‘working’ there, so all free as well as simple amenities (toilets and running water). Nice place along the river and firepits, also good if you plan to head to the NP before or after.
Report Check-InThe camping is open again, CHP 5000 for 2 person and vehicle. Very nice and quiet place next to the river.
