Description
Camping $7 usd per person per night on a grassy area behind a building you can use if it pours rain. Running water in the building and good spot for cooking. Apparently potable water, but use your own judgment. Cold shower and toilets near reception. Restaurant with a choice of a few dishes. Nice hike to sulphurous hot springs. (Hike included in price of camping.) Great trails. Don't get lost like the French tourists who just did it without lights or much common sense. It gets dark in the jungle, and the trails are poorly marked. Use GPS, map, and bring a light.
Wi-Fi available at the Lodge but not at the campsite. Beware of bloodsucking gnats that seem impervious to bug spray. Windy/blustery conditions at night.

This is a beautiful stop. Entry to the road is 800 cr per person. Some parts of the road are steep but can be done in any vehicle . it is definitely Big Rig friendly .we are 3.5 high and 8m long and has no issues .
Report Check-InStationnement pour 10$pp (les enfants payent au dessus de 10 ans). Endroit jolie avec petite piscine mais un peu cher. Par contre accès gratuit au source chaude à environ 4km si on prend une nuit de stationnement ou si on consomme au restaurant
Report Check-InBrutal Winds, expensive for what you get. Pretty exclusive and Overlanders are not really welcome here. Because of the Hotline Wind we asked whether we could cook in the unused, closed bar gazebo. They denken and told us cooking is prohibited on the complete area. Never heard anything ridiculous like that. 10$ pPpn.
Report Check-InVery safe and nice spot. Near from all highlights in Rincon. 5 to 10min driving to all spots. Very calm. We spend our best nights there.

Report Check-InThe Lodge and restaurant are closed for renovations, camping with it. We called their number, no idea when it will reopen. The gate was closed but not locked.
Report Check-InBeautiful camping spot close to Rincón de la Vieja National Park. Xabier, the person that received us, was super nice to us and did not charge us for the night, normal price is still 7$. Nice breakfast for 5$. Clean toilets and showers, beautiful view from the pool. We got here from Liberia, there is a 700C fee per person if you go trough Hacienda Guachipelin.
Report Check-InGreat camping spot! Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, and dog friendly. Clean toilets and cold shower. Swiming pool is clean. We paid $7 per person and parked in the grassy parking lot over away from the busses that come in and under a nice tree. With an extension cord plugged in to electricity. The Sulphur hot springs are a 5 mile round trip hike from here. The trail is very well marked. There was no park ranger to collect money for them. We were allowed to leave the dog outside with our car.
