Flat, paved parkinglot next to the boatlift/lock. Nothing special, but quiet all day and at night. Close to the Autobahn for a stopover.

it's mainly a parking place where a lot of trucks park overnight. With a caravan you can also sleep here for the night.
I was only on my motorbike with a tent. There was no free space outside the tarmac. But at the end of it there was a small track in the hedge leading to the nearby lake. There were 2-3 small places to put up a tent.
The night was quite windy and the wind comes from the lake side, so better secure your tent properly.
Awesome campaign site. Beautiful views. Place mainly for camper vans and campaign houses for rent but they welcome tents too
