Latest Check-Ins

This place is badly maintained with on-going constructions. We were quoted 20,000 for single and 10,000 for the second person but chose not to stay after having a little look around.

Report Check-In

The operator is very helpful, speaks no English, only French, but we could not find a way to get into the complex with a vehicle over 3 m. The archway was either too low or overgrown. Either the archway was too low or overgrown. What a pity! It looked promising!

Nice place with great view over the lake. They also have a private beach down the hotel. We had a room for 20,000 incl breakfast for 1 person (3000 extra for second person). Hot water, mosquito net, WiFi (after they fixed it), very friendly staff and we could park the motorcycles secured behind the gate and underneath a shelter. At night we had a tasty meal for 4000, chicken with rice, vegetables and tomatoes sauce.

We camped in parking area with rooftop tent. Room was opened for toilet and shower. Very nice and helpful people. We paid RWF 20.000 for 2 people.

Managed to get a double bedroom for 10k (one person) with awesome view on the lake.
The hotel is a bit run down I general, wouldn't pay more...

Report Check-In

We found a Hotel with nice view, nice beach and restaurant. The management just offered rooms, double and single the same 30.000 frs. Expensive for the quality. Bad bathroom, you can hear everything from beside rooms, bed to short. Staying in the car was same price. Maybe the manager didn’t understand us, because he couldn’t answer much more then yes, yes, no, no
No WiFi beside the reception, but nobody knew the password. At all, beside view and restaurant, I wouldn’t stay again.

Report Check-In

We planned to camp there. Camping arena next to the lake down the hill. Only toilet there no ablutions. We could make use of the showers in a hotel room. Finally we decided to hire a room because every day there is a thunderstorm. We got a big room 30.000 frr , shower was not hot. Property run down. Staff is friendly but don’t speak well English or French. They do their best but are not professional, long waiting time in the restaurant and a breakfast is served in some 3 or more stages. We had to learn them how fried eggs sunny side up are cooked. We stayed 3 nights.
