We stayed on site 7, the campground is nice and quiet we had a fun stay

Report Check-In

Spent a night here on our way through. Unfortunately looks like a fire hit here a few months ago. Quiet and no one else here

Report Check-In

Very clean nice camp sites. I liked how spaced out they were from each other. Only 3 other sites were filled when I went. They have pit toilets but they’re unmaintained and didn’t have toilet paper. There was also a water spigot, but the water smelled absolutely horrible. Like rotten eggs. For $10 I would go back again

We were passing through & needed a place to stay for the night. There was a lot of available campsites & they were really well kept. I still had phone service (Verizon) & there were clean bathrooms. I saw spigots. I would definitely come back.

fantastic. lots of buffer from neighbors, inexpensive, water is delicious (does not taste of chlorine). Quiet, does not have bear, wolf, coyote problems. put toilets are clean. Host is attentive and friendly.

Nice spot just off 97. 20 sites. Trails I didn't get chance to use. 10 dollars a nite. Water available.

Stopped by for an overnight stay. Is very beautiful eventhough the area driving 8n was burned by the wildfires. Thankfully this campground was spared. Payment box was taped up so no fee req, but only $10 during the regular camp season.

Stayed the night. Excellent campgrounds, free in the winter. Drove past the turn off and found a beautiful bridge and scenery too.

Gorgeous, clean, wooded campground that makes you feel like you're boondocking! Friendly camp host & ranger! 😁
I picked up a little trash in our site before the ranger got there. #8 was the best for our solar panels, in August. The 🐿 🐿 🐿 are very bold!! Level spot to park or put up a tent. Fire pit, bench, bathrooms, water spigot & trash cans. We would return!!

Lovely, quiet campground. Some sites get partial sun. I had a bar or two of service (AT&T).

The Williamson River Campground is conveniently located just off Highway 97 about five minutes north of Chiloquin, Oregon. There are 19 campsites with picnic tables, fire grates, three vault toilets, and two hand pumps round out the amenities at this campground. One campsite is ADA accessible.
Ponderosa pines and sagebrush populate the landscape and contrast with the crystal clear Williamson River. Due to its close proximity to the highway, this is a popular campground. You can mountain bike on miles of Forest Service roads, go fishing, or explore day hikes opportunities.
Situated next to the popular Collier State Park, there is a 1.3 mile walking trail that connects the two campgrounds. Discover the Collier State Park Logging Museum which showcases historic logging equipment from the late 1800’s, as well as a relocated pioneer village.

Campsites (20 total) are on a large loop and spaced out pretty well and among Ponderosa pines. Sites are all relatively flat + a couple of pull throughs for larger rigs. $10/US in season. This a NF campground. Short hike to river.
