Good place for overnight, because of the wind shelter by the lava field and because of the altitude (3'470m), which isn't to high. 100 meters away from the road.
We recommend a walk up to the lava field to point -24.698727, -67.933838 which is the highest point of the field with a stunning 360 grade-view.

Quite ok for one night. Some trash around but have seen worse. Depending on where the wind comes from you can get some shelter.
Report Check-InUnfortunately a lot of broken glass, junk and human feces in the windprotected areas. We did not want to pitch our tent there. There is better tent places up the mountain to the West.
For campers it may be alright.
