Change money XAF to USD, EUR and other local currencies. Necessary for USD needed to enter Angola.

worked like everybody is telling
the security guy helpes you with everything. we had to de deposit the 2000 and a few days later also the 75000. be sure to get 2copys for the ambassade. you can copy at the hotel kactus right across the bank.

We waited from 2 PM to 2.30 PM(when it opened) in front of the closed doors of the bank and were the first to be helped luckily.
Instead of going to a cybercafé to make 2 copies of our paymentslip, we asked the lady behind the counter for 2 paymentslips p.p. ('deux receipts').

We were just in time to take our payment slips to the Angolan embassy that closes at 3 PM. (the slips were accepted).

Go straight to the Security Guys sitting on the Table on the right hand side. They already know you Overlanders and will fill the complete Form for you. They even know the Account Details from the Consulate! :)

Bank, where you need to put your cash for Angola visa. Behind the Total Station. Opens at 8:00 a.m., be early it's quite crowded. (Opening times: Mon-Fri, 8:00-12:15 a.m. and 02:30-04:15 p.m.)
